Situated in the leafy suburbs of Childwall, Eton Place opened in October 2009 and has rapidly established itself as a popular eatery on Woolton Road. Serving freshly prepared English and Meditteranean cuisine, it is an ideal venue whether for a cup of coffee and a slice of delicious cake, or for something more substantial morning, afternoon or evening.

Ordered food on a Wednesday night, no food came after over an hour so I called to ask where the food was. Got told ‘we are busy, will make in 10/15 minutes’ Absolutely abysmal. We are regular customers, order at least twice a month who will not be returning. The last few orders have took a while and we were giving it one last chance, this is the final straw. You have lost good customers, even a call to explain the food was going to be delayed would have been appreciated.
Our first visit to this place. It was to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was very good, portion sizes were generous and the service was good considering we were a party of 10. The bill was reasonable and included a service charge. Be warned, the parking around what is a mainly residential area is poor, so arrive early to allow time to look for parking.
Nice atmosphere and perfectly prepared dishes, and very reasonably priced. The main meals are big - ideal for those with a good appetite! The service was spot-on and friendly. Highly recommended?
Ordered the monkfish and prawn kebab, really looking forward to it, arrived at my house nice and early with zero monkfish, still charged £16 and they had my phone number and didn’t bother to call to let me know. I called them up to ask why they didn’t bother to call me to let me know, guy on the phone said to me “we’ve done this all day and your the first person to call us up to compain” bit of a joke, could have swapped my order, but been charged full wack for something I didn’t receive. Message to Eton Place - customer service goes a long way, and a phone call can take 30 seconds, reputation is a hard thing to get back. Won’t order from here again.
Absolutely Awful Service. Ordered food, waited an hour, rang and was told the delivery driver was already delivering food and that my food would be made and it would take 10-15 minutes. I then got a email from Just Eat to say that my order was cancelled. I called the restaurant, who were rude and could not care less and was told that there was 'no driver'. Lol. Avoid at all costs.
Lovely Turkish restaurant only yards from the Halfway House pub. Really good food at reasonable prices and the advantage of being able to take your own wine and pay corkage. Two of us had the chef special to share, an absolute carnivore's delight. The other two had oven baked cod. All were very satisfied.
Food was delicious as always. I had calamari which was cooked beautifully with a crispy outer and soft inner,i tasted my partners fishcakes which were lovely. We both had lamb kebab which was so tender,the only little thing more of the dressing please it's gorgeous. I even had a dessert a lovely chocolate sponge with hot chocolate sause and ice cream delish I ordered a chicken kebab to takeaway and that was equally tasty. Can't wait to come back .
Really nice place. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Prompt service. I had Meat Musaka...gorgeous. partner had Monk fish which she really enjoyed but found the dish slightly dry. Maybe a side of Humous to go with it. Suggestion to dim the lights a bit as I found the atmosphere to be a tad stagnant. too bright. Overall a nice evening. Would recommend.
