Delicious food as always! Service was excellent, Emily was welcoming, attentive, responsive and attentive. Not overbearing but never too far way when we needed her. She managed our party of 12 expertly, all the dishes arrived promptly together on both courses. Changing a dish was no problem at all, thanks. All of the serving team were friendly and helpful, a credit to the restaurant. Well done Emily and the team, you made our special evening all the more enjoyable. Parking: Lots of spaces full tonight but still enough for everyone.
Atmosphere was nice, the sharing plater was no good at all and not worth £18, my pizza had to be sent back because the dough was raw, and the pork belly starter was a joke, to be honest. 5 small breaded cubes of pork with leaves no flavour whatsoever. The roast was ok, but we got the trio meat and the amount of meat you get is another joke. The Moroccan lamp was so spicy and barely any meat in it. We won't be coming back. The service was nice, and the staff was nice, but the kitchen is in trouble clearly.
Visited 1 week ago with husband and father in law for a brunch, and it was really nice, between the relaxed atmosphere, friendly waiters, decor and even good music being played in the background, we had a wonderful time there and we will go back in the future when we visit Liverpool again! Plenty of parking space right outside the door! Among ourselves we had a yummy and creamy beetroot soup with warm bread and butter, my husband and his father both had steaks and beer, and I had coffee which was surprisingly good, being from Brazil, I am a bit hard to please when it comes to my coffee, but it was a good one! Parking: Plenty of parking spaces right outside the pub/ restaurant Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with happy kids!
Just had an impromptu lunch at Ego Sefton. We were great by lovely enthusiastic staff who arranged for a table as we had not booked. The service was quick and attentive without being pressured. Olivia looked after us with food and drinks and ensure we had everything we needed. I would fully recommend coming here for the location, atmosphere and food. Fabulous service and a lovely lunch. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly
Took the family for dinner last week, honestly one of the best meals I have had since arriving in the UK 18 months ago. Freshly prepared and tasty. Lovely setting, peaceful atmosphere. Good service. Highly recommend, Worth it.Food: 5/5
Lovely meal tonight at ego at the punchbowl, service was brilliant and food delicious. Highly recommend. We were served by Emily who checked on us just the right amount of times, staff are wonderful and never had a bad experience. Our favourite local restaurantFood: 5/5
Visited last night for my wife's birthday, we have been quite few times down the years. The food was good, I had duo of pork and my wife had lamb rump but in my opinion for the amount you pay the portion sizes could be bigger. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff very attentive our waitress Janette was very helpful and extremely polite. Overall egos is nice place for a meal but is expensive for what you get.
My time and money surely did not go to waste! I had such a lovely time whilst visiting this fine establishment. Great food and outstanding service. There was a young girl in particular named Amelia who had excellent manners. I will definitely be returning again!Food: 5/5
I love this place. Food is always cooked to perfection with friendly accomodating staff. Nothing us too much trouble weather it's a meal for two if a big family gathering. Our Server Nina was fantastic It's not too noisy and they love having your 4 legged friends to visit too
Great service, lovely atmosphere and decor but oh my word by far the worst food we've had in a long time. Sharing starter platter was like bad party food pack from Iceland, no farm foods!, the gambas pil pil one of my favourite dishes tasted like cheap precooked prawns thrown in some olive oil. Ordered the lamb got two thumb nail sized chunks of meat then it was all olives and chick peas, daughter left most of her cod, just awful. Fair play they took the cost off the bill but we go out with the same friends every month and this is the first bad experience we've had.
