We went to Coast for afternoon tea. It was delicious, particularly the sandwiches and the still-warm fruit scones. The service was amazing, really friendly, polite and attentive. I had booked for 2 adults and a child. When we got there, they had already set children's cutlery on the table for our little one. I appreciate the attention to detail and level of service.
Had a lovely breakfast here with quick, friendly service. The food arrived fast, and the Nutella croissant and teacakes, with honey they kindly gave rather than the usual butter, was gorgeous. My wife had a decaf mocha that she said was absolutely top notch. I'd recommend coming here and will be coming back. Fully stocked baby changing facilities in the bathroom if needed which is definitely something we noted for the future as we are expecting our first any day now!
I really liked the decor but the rest was a disappointment. Coffee wasn’t impressive and my cake tasted stale. All the cakes looked like they were from a supermarket. The staff was mostly okay apart from one woman at the till that behaved like she hated working there and wasn’t very nice. Also, I was brought my coffee but they put the cake on the side and forgot about it so I had to remind them to bring it. Won’t be coming back.
Me and my mum came here for some lunch. We both had the beef burger and chips, and a cheesy garlic bread to share. The burger was very nice and tasty - so was the garlic bread. Unfortunately we didn't like the chips. They were too big! I could taste the grease in my mouth when chewing them.I would have preferred if they were slimmer and more bite-sized.Lovely atmosphere inside and the staff are always welcoming.
Lovely catch up with my niece. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Only thing is to say it gets very busy and you have to book a table in advance. Guess this is a good thing as it shows how popular it is. We had to walk up some very steep stairs to get to our table and I couldn't see any lifts. There was plenty of seating outside though, but on these colder days it is advisable to get a table indoors.
Heard good things about this place thought I'd give it a try. Went for breakfast with my partner, both a little disappointed with the quality of food. We ordered Pouched Eggs on toast and Eggs Benedict, eggs were solid, everything was cold and no condiments on the table. Wasn't even asked if we'd like any. i.e HP sauce!! When trying to find a member of staff to ask nobody was around. Won't be trying here again.
The food is delicious & I love the decor and bohemian vibe, coffee is ok, but we’ve never really received particularly warm or welcoming service here which for me is off-putting, so will probably look to find somewhere else to spend my hard-earned.Food: 5/5
Didn't even get to sit down. On a cold, wet day the totally disinterested waitress said they were full but didn't even bother to see if any tables were likely to be free soon. We left, walked to Tesco's cafe and had a nice, very good value meal served by pleasant, smiling staff. We'll be back Tesco's that is!
Charming bistro serving amazing cake. Lovely ambience with attentive and friendly staff. They have a secluded, non-smoking garden seating area at the back, edged with original sandstone walls. Along one side is a well-tended flower bed. There is a covered seating area and open section. There are also two tables at the front of the building facing the road. Inside, the entrance to the bistro opens up into an intimate meeting place which seemed to be popular with families when we visited. There is a cosy upstairs area for those wanting a private party. They do a good decaf coffee, the prosecco is lovely, and the prices are excellent. Recommended.
Visited Coast on a hot sunny afternoon we sat outside. I only had a cold drink and chunky chips so I can't give a comprehensive review. The service we had was pretty fast and waitress was polite. The chips was good. Maybe I'll visit again and try a meal. The area where it is is nice so we'll worth a visit if you're in Wootton village.
