I booked a table for myself and my boyfriend as it was his birthday. We went lunch time and it was quite busy which was nice. Service was excellent & food was really good. I also requested for them to do something special as it was my boyfriend's birthday and just as when we were having our desserts, they brought over a brownie on a plate with happy birthday on it. My boyfriend requested to have lunch here so I'm glad he's happy
Always great service at this restaurant. Every experience, the staff always make you feel special. It’s perfect for a special occasion. The small touches really make a difference, like the herbs freshly cut into the oil at the beginning of the meal. The atmosphere is fantastic too. Enjoyed the spreads and warm pita bread to start with. Quite a few different vegetarian options available. An extensive drinks and cocktail menu too. All the food and vegetables tasted really fresh. My guests also loved their dishes. Hope to return soon.
Went for dinner last Saturday night. Some of the staff were not very attentive and we did not get some of our drinks. Table cloth had a big stain on it. Food wise, presented well, taste was satisfactory but had a good range of options on the menu. Not value for money.
Great location and interior with comfortable tables and high ceiling You can choose your fish from the display where usually they have fresh seafood. Service is ok used to be better before the pandemic Super expensive crazy mark ups from the industry standards on almost everything If you can afford it - go !
I go every year for my birthday and would definitely recommend it for special occasions! It's my FAVOURITE restaurant in London~ The restaurant can be loud, but I think it adds to the lively atmosphere and the staff have always been very friendly. My personal favourites are the Milos Special {vegetable tower, fried yet so light and always tempts you to order another one}, the cuttlefish and risotto, and the yoghurt with honey~
What a beautifully decorated restaurant, minimalistic and clean designs. The fish counter has the most freshest looking fish, the hostesses and wait staff are extremely professional and polite. The food came promptly and the portion sizes were perfect, each dish was cooked to perfection, ie. Calamari was soft and lightly dusted and you wouldn't even assume the calamari was fried nor was it greasy. The courgette tower was divine, the Tarama was exactly as Tarama should be, oysters were fresh and flavoursome, seabream was perfectly cooked and seasoned and though the salad looks basic it is marinated to perfection. The fries also were delicious too! I enjoyed the baklava and icecream and the ekmek kadaifi wasn't the traditional style I'm used to but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Amazing experience in this Historical building with huge entrance doors. You can see straight away the kitchen and the fresh fish on the counter. I Was here with a Greek friend and the food was amazing. We had oysters, Greek salad, calamari, octopus , their homemade tzatziki, lamb chops, great wine, and unbelievably good desserts. My favourite was the ekmek kataifi, definitely recommend ordering.
The knowledgeable, friendly and very busy staff spared no effort in showing us the fantastic fresh fish and traditional Greek addition to a lovely meal. The shared raw fish plate with tartar and sashimi was a triumph. In part, tangy with top quality of fish, sour and fresh with beans and herbs and tuna was just lovely.
Xmas celebration with colleagues. Everything ordered was tasty. Service was very friendly. Would recommend if you have a healthy budget.Food: 4/5
Great place and vibes and the best service we had in London. We started with the calamari, good but could’ve been crunchier. Greek salad, again good but nothing memorable. Zucchini flower also delicious but nothing special. And I think the filling is way too overpowering. The gilardo oysters where magical. Really good, fresh, meaty and just perfect. Loved loved the Madagascar shrimp and off course the grilled durade. I wish they serve their famous crab cakes in their London branch since its the best I ever tried.
