The coffee/mocha was good as was the brownie but the place lacked a bit of tlc. Dirty windows outside. Dirty windowsills inside. Tables need cleared quickly if you don't provide a station for customers to help out by returning their cups etc when finished. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. ****update**** passed while walking the dog a few nights ago. Pleased to announce staff were busy cleaning the place. Windows spotless inside and out and the grime on the interior window sill/cill was now gone. Do the people that matter really read these reviews and react....im saying they do....well done. Keep up the good work.

Absolute joke of a place ! get the feeling they don't want customers, they have air conditioning set to blow out cold air in winter and won't use proper cups as they can't be bothered now washing dishes, where's their pride in the job they are paid to do, comes from management, obviously area manger and coffee shop manager don't care which is a real shame as they have some good young staff who are being taught very lazy bad habits, used to be a great place to stop for a coffee.

it is frustrating to arrive at the store only to find that it is closed earlier than the posted hours. This has happened to me on multiple occasions and it is a inconvenience.  I understand that there may be valid reasons for the store to close early from time to time, but it seems to be a regular occurrence. It is disrespectful to the customers who make the effort to come to the store and plan their shopping around the posted hours, only to find that the store is closed.

Awful. Closed 3 days last week, now it was open this morning but locked again at lunchtime. Great service, really glad i drove out of my way to give them some business. Dont know why i bother anyway  its not as if they ever clean the place

Lovely latte on a cold Dec afternoon in this busy wee corner cafe. Great to see they allow the dogs in. Need more cafes like thisFood: 4/5

Arrived 1030am. Short staff. Had to wait much longer than usual. Menu choice appear not to have been replenished. Went up for another cup , queue was out to door. Also shop has been closed for 2or 3 days a week.

Enjoyable coffee and Pana raisin Met brother had chin wag plenty of seating. Lovely staff Catherine was chatting to us.

Warm and Inviting. With a great selection of coffees, teas, and other hot and cold drinks. All served with a smile. Great way to spend a lazy morning.

A great spot in the centre of the bustling town of Newtownards. Friendly staff, good coffee and the best location for a coffee shop. Right on the town square. There's even books you can read once you switch off all electronic devices!

This one star is for higher management. I'd give the staff 10  I see continuing over worked staff, Staff not staying long in this employment, Staff  do not get any time to clean any of the fixtures properly, Cobwebs, splash marks from spills, a 12 hrs shift with 2 x 20 minutes break. I have a suspicion that greedy cafe nero just like to go with the flow, instead they should focus more on better staff care, and more staff at that. Either that or employ cleaners to directly pop in and clean fixtures and fittings. I give all staff a thumbs up, How you are managed needs proper focus.
