Terrible. The courses lack motivation and creativity, they are extremely bland and monotonous. I studied sports coaching and for 2 years BARLEY ever used the sports hall for practical tasks. Also studied film and 70% of the chosen films in that course are terrible along with the coursework as well. Canteen food is overpriced too. However, i will say that the teachers are very nice, friendly and quite helpful.
great college that treats you like adults rather than coddling you like some sixth forms. teachers are fantastic and a huge number of courses are available so there is something for everyone
Esher College has a brilliant policy of only talking to one parent. Fantastic, you can completely exclude your ex-husband from finding out anything about how the kids are doing. All single mums pile the kids in to Esher College! Quick, they boast they are not a school, so not bound by any laws at all. If you ask, they really love this policy. Me too.
The teachers are great, most of them almost become your friend through their engaging teaching and ability to be there for you. You call teachers by their first names, and I think that brings a level of respect to the relationship. Much respect for Dan!
Watch out for the chaotic course allocation process which is not fit for purpose. 2 days before term started my daughter was offered none of the 3 subjects that her application 12 months previously was based upon. After much negotiation we were offered 1 of the 3 subjects. Very disappointing.
