Story

Erwlon is a family run park with a warm welcome and excellent new facilities including a heated amenity block, family rooms, laundry, super pitches, a motor caravan service point and plenty of landscaped pitches available. Within easy walking distance of the ancient borough of Llandovery and at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, Erwlon is an ideal base for touring, walking or cycling in South West Wales. You can get to all the primary attractions and coastal resorts of South and West Wales and we have a number of circular tours you can follow to take in the beautiful countryside on your way. Alternatively you can just sit outside and watch the red kites fly overhead, spot the kingfisher along our river bank or even snatch a glimpse of a wild mink.
We pride ourselves on our friendly welcome and we have been running the park alongside our dairy farm for three generations now so we must be doing something right. Please come and see for yourselves - you won't be disappointed!

Great little site. Owners very helpful and offered to assist anyone with caravans if they had trouble in the mud. Facilities are excellent. Spacious, clean and modern.

Would have been five stars but we didn't get the pitch we booked when we got there next to our friends. Felt the site should have moved the people that had extended their stay off the pitch we booked. Apart from that couldn't fault it. Excellent.

Great camping park. Mike and his wife went the extra mile to make me and friends feel welcome. Showers and toilets always kept nice clean. Washing up room with washer and dryer for them wet days in Wales. New pods just put in for 2017. Plus a big wooden eating and washing shelter in the tent area too. But could do with couple of toilets there. We been back in 2018.

Just returned from our first trip away in our new caravan, Thank you to all the staff at Erwlon for making it a relatively stressfree event. Our stay was slightly marred by the poor weather resulting in the grass pitches being absolutely sodden (word of warning if the site changes your booking for a hard standing don't change it back lol) but this is of no fault of the site and they made every effort to accommodate us pitching us at the end of the road in the top field which suited us fine. A well thought out site with adult only as you enter and the family area further into the site located in the top field surrounding the play area, the facilities block is situated in the middle of the two areas and is pretty much spotless and the site itself is very tidy. Only a few niggles prevented it from getting a full 5 stars, the family washrooms although mostly clean there were flys in the lights they could also do with a table of some sorts and a changing station to each room as there was only one and at the time of our stay was broken, the site could do with a few more lights along the path as it got very dark in places but this is a minor one as you can just take a torch, the site could do with a light above the entrance way as it's a little tight with an overhanging tree that could really ruin someone's holiday if they miss judge the turn especially in the dark and lastly two major requests to make this site even better would be a few hardstanding pitches in the top field ideally just past the camping kitchen, and the top entrance needs a gate of some kind as it's in the family area it opens out onto the busy A40. Apart from those niggles and request we will definitely be back in the future and I would like to extend an extra thank you to your two wardens during our stay Paula and her husband were absolutely spot on and we hope to visit a site they are looking after in thw future.

Love camping here.. been coming for over 10 years.. great site, great wardens, great walks and Llandovery is very friendly .
