Definitely one of the nicest campsites I've used in the UK. Really tranquil, a small site in a beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons. I was looking for a quite place to camp with my dog, and had been losing hope after the last camp site I tried was full of screaming children and burning caravans(!). But then I found Cuckoo Camping. The owners gave a very accommodating welcome and clearly look after their campsite really well. It is a small site with pitches on an open but sheltered area of land. What the facilities lack in modern glitz they certainly make up for in charm, and are kept impeccably clean. The camp kitchen is wonderful and very generously stocked with utensils. If you're looking for a peaceful, secluded site (with the fifth-brightest stars in the world!) then this is an absolute gem. My dog liked it so much it was really hard work to get him to leave. Many thanks to the owners for a lovely stay,
