"My experience with Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Portadown was exceptional. The brand-new car I rented was immaculately clean and a delight to drive. The service was lightning-fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. What amazed me most was that all this came at an affordable price. Another car from Enterprise. Hand over was fast and the member of staff was friendly. Car wasn't 100% clean, but not as bad as the last one from them. It was wet during the handover, so I did see the bit of damage to the back bumper. Enterprise, please note that on the 6.11.23 there is damaged on back dumper to the car you have given me. This must fall within the damaged guideline on your cars as I was not told about it. Friendly and polite staff, but the cleanliness of the car was not good. The car had obviously been used by a smoker as it smelt of cigarettes and the seats were very dirty plus a burn in the drivers seat. I gave the seats a wipe and had to clean the interior glass of the car myself as it was unpleasant to drive as it was. I understand it was my own stupidity to leave my driving licence in the car, but it has still not been returned to me.
I contacted the portadown branch last Friday the 5th April to enquire about hiring a car. I asked the guy on the phone if he was able to drop the car out to me on the Saturday and he said that he couldn't because there was only 2 staff on. He offered me the Monday to drop the car out and I said that was fine. He asked my postal address and when I gave it to him he said it would be between 9.30am and 11.30am before he could get it to me. I asked about putting the booking through and he told me to go onto the website and do that. I done everything he told me to do but on the online service it didn't ask for my address. I rang the office on Saturday 6th April and spoke to Ruth. She told me that they don't deliver cars out to people. I explained I rang the day before and she said I remember that conversation and you weren't told that. I asked her how could she know the full conversation because she didn't hear what I was saying on the other end of the phone. She replied well it doesn't really matter because we won't be dropping the car out to you. I found Ruth very very rude and I told her as much on the phone. I had to cancel the car order because of this plus I wouldn't use the service from portadown based on Ruth's terrible customer service. As a result of cancelling I've been charged £40.00. I've emailed the branch twice and no one has bothered to contact me back. I would not recommend the portadown branch as a result of this. Very annoyed
I am very happy with the service this company gave me, especially at my short noticeemergency. Professionalism care and attention were exceptional, and I have no bother giving them 100% rating.
Absolutely brilliant company and the really best choice. It is good to be reading so many positive reviews and each reflects a positive experience. The van was well turned out and given back in the same condition. Mechanically it worked perfectly which is so important and reflective of a robust system of maintenance. The gearbox was easy to use without any crunches. This again reflects the care taken in maintenance as unfamiliar users are not always the gentlest. The price is the most competitive and the flexibility of use really works well. Thus I highly recommend this company. PS I have just rented a second van and exactly the same positve experience. There really is no other choice. Brilliant and thank you.
Hiring cars for 10 years and this has by far been the best service! Natasha and her team are super friendly and helpful, Joshua and A-A-Ron super smiley and professional. Thanks so much for the free pick up and drop off taxi service, a real game changer. And really competitive pricing too. Will definitely use you for all car hire here in Northern Ireland in future. :
The guys were great. We had no issues. Cameron was very helpful and had a great positive attitude. I would definitely use them again and the £89 charge for the van was a no brainer
Absolutely exceptional service. I had hired a car as my own car receiving a service. The Enterprise staff went above and beyond for myself and my partner. They picked us up after my own car was dropped off at the garage. I was then taken back to their office and all staff were very friendly. The car I hired was absolutely top class and spotless throughout. I would highly recommend A+++ service.
Update, they send an automatic Response on the review, but never look at the problem, best thing to do is block your credit card and order a new one before they charge something else without send you an email with any info at all. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I waited 2 hours to get a van I had rented, only to return it and have them do their walk around and say everything was ok. Now, 4 weeks later they charged me £117 pounds from card with no explanation, no call, no email. After calling them multiple times I was told that the tyre was flat the next day and they decided I was to blame and charged me for a new tyre, again with no explanation. This not how things are done, I have never experienced this from Europcar or any of the other car rental services. The least they could have done is contact me to say there was an issue and not automatically assume 4 weeks lates that I was to blame and charge a new tyre for a puncture. Enterprise is a complete rip off and I don't recommend them.
Truly amazing people, never had bad experience, nothing is too much. They definitely go the extra mile. Not just in branch but the online/telephone staff also. Oh if I may, a big thanks to Aimee, Sarah, Cameron, Darren, that I've dealt with personally. First class staff.
