Attended the trainee session on weds..a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Kay the tutor was very careful in leading the trainee.every step was monitored.at a fraction of the cost I'm definitely a regular. Having lived in a number of places and having tried many salons, from large chains to independent salons, I have never found a salon so friendly and welcoming as at Emotive. The whole team take great pride in their work, and are dedicated to providing first rate customer service and helping you feel great inside and out. Big thanks to Josie for her beautiful work on my wedding hair, and to Paige, George and Amy for so many feel-good cut and finishes. What a great team you all are. My only salon!

Amy was superb. A wonderful colour and a great cut and blow dry. She made the effort to teach me how to style myself myself as well. A really fun atmosphere and a team that clearly get on very well. Good value for money. This will be my new regular salon. Thank you all.
I chose to come for a trim at this salon based on the good reviews on google. However, sadly it did not meet any of my expectations. The salon was very busy with Reigate mum's and it was only Tuesday morning, so my first thought is they must be good. The lady who cut my hair was very nice and friendly but wasn't able to give me the hair cut that I wanted. I asked for a dead straight line edge matrix-style contemporary bob Which was the haircut I had when I came in - I just needed a trim with no layering at all. This kind of cut normally takes about a 15-20 min max at the place I used to go as it's so basic and easy. Anyway I came out with a poofy rounded mum-style bob, there is some layering in the back and the line was not very modern. I felt she didn’t have a good eye for modern aesthetics. On top of this is it took over 1 1/2 hours as she was stopping and talking quite a lot to me and her colleagues - and I ended up missing my train to work. The price i had to pay was £50 for a cut and blow dry and I felt this was very expensive for the general quality of service. Especially as when I got home I had to trim my hair myself to fix the line and cut some stray long hairs she missed. In all the I feel the problem was mostly the price. As an experience it felt like a £25-30 cut tops. To be honest, I know excellant salons in London that I could have payed £60 to have my hair-cut and styled by a far more fashion conscious stylist who is more professional - not to mention in a salon with nicer interior and much higher quality of service.
My first visit for highlights and cut. George spent a lot of time discussing colour, banning the yellows of my hair and not cutting too much as layers need to grow out. I was impressed! The atmosphere of salon is friendly, light hearted and a few bits of banterwhich I love. Compared to other salons the price is very reasonable, a big bonus!!Thankyou x
Finding someone you trust to cut and colour your hair is a big deal, to me especially, so when I decided to go to Emotive I was absolutely blown away with the service provided. Ray and his team are always so welcoming, very professional and fun! They are always accommodating to try and work around you and your needs and every now and then they open on Sunday's to support charitable events to help raise money. I have been going to Emotive for over 2 years now and many of my friends have become clients as I am constantly gushing about how much I love getting my hair done at Emotive. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for a 5 star service all round.
