Another great treatment at Elysium Beauty Lounge this evening. Thrilled with my treatment and as normal the therapist was courteous and knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending this Salon to anyone looking for excellent treatments carried out by conscientious and professional therapists.

I called to have my eyelashes done, booked an appointment and I was given two options, Russian lashes and Mink lashes(I think). As I was not sure what the difference was, I asked and the lady over the phone explained that the Russian is fuller than the mink, I chose the russian. Went in on the day of my appointment and had to lay down there for two hours , got a cramped neck, cramped bottom and cramped right foot for lying down for so long only to finish and get lashes that were way below my expectations. The lashes were not full and she probably noticed I was disappointed and said my natural lashes are very sparse that was basically the best she could do. My issue is, I have had my lashes done for 20 quid with 'lower' quality lashes than the ones elysium is boasting of. These 'lower' quality lashes were much more fuller than what I had at Elysium, so why did the lash tech not tell me that my lashes were too 'sparse' from the start and that she won't be able to achieve the fullness I want? This would have given me the chance to choose a cheaper option as the main reason I chose russian was to get the fullness. She instead told me to add mascara on it if I am not coming in for refills in a couple of weeks. I had to add stripped lashes on it just to get some fullness when I was going out. Totally disappointed, waste of £80.
