A beautiful store filled with an array of gems, crystals and jewellery. I bought a lovely amethyst tea light holder today, the staff member at the till wrapped it for me and was very kind. I will definitely return in future.
Very poor. Sold my boyfriend earrings which I got for Xmas and within 2 weeks/3 wears the stone has dropped out of one. Fully expected a replacement/refund but was refused. Won’t be shopping here again… faulty goods and no replacement.
OMG look ive been using this shop for years and have never had a problem with any of the owners. Its funny how you all complain that you get asked to wear a mask but then you twist it round saying that he demanded you wear one. I go into that shop without a mask no problem and to be honest i can see where he is coming from with covid still around hes just protecting him self and his business so i stead of going into a rage and spreading hate take a step back and think of it from his point of view.
I love this quirky little shop and I've bought lots of lovely gifts for myself over the years. Service varies depending on who's working on the day but don't let it put you off. The outlet is quite literally bursting at the seams. They have so much to look at you'll need at least a good couple of hours to browse. You can get everything from beautifully hand crafted jewelry and gifts to ornaments, semiprecious stones and crystals. There is something for everyone including a few clothing items and they also sell tarot cards too. The shop has a lovely calming feel with gentle music playing in the background - there is always a lovely scent and one can feel the different continents whilst examining the goods sourced from far and wide. It's enchanting .....
The man at this shop forces you to wear a face mask even though this is not the law. Even if you display exemption. This is not only ableist, but you are spoken to very rudely and harshly when asked. My partner was not allowed in as he didn’t have a mask, which wasn’t a problem for us, i just went in alone, however, only to have the door locked behind me, which as a lone female shopper I found very unsettling. The man just stands there and watches you shop, it makes you feel very judged. The prices are also VERY steep, I was shocked, I have never seen a crystal shop with prices so high. Not a very pleasant man/ shop, if you are running a shop and expect business you should learn how to be a decent host and talk to people in a respectable manner.
Love this shop, if you're into crystals, tarot and magic then this is the place to visit in Newcastle. Lovely little shop with so much to offer.
Haven’t been in ages but was so charming last time I was there. I know the man who works there. He is a friend. I noticed some people were leaving reviews about him making them uncomfortable. I get where they’re coming from, but I think there is a misunderstanding because he’s actually really nice.
I was refused entry yesterday after being asked to wear a mask when I am exempt. The lady went on to say that I was not exempt and I must wear a mask. I feel completely discriminated against and I will not return, whether a mask is required or not. The shop and the contents from the outside looks beautiful. The attitude of the owner/shop worker however was very much the opposite. Such a shame!!
Was barred entry because of my exemption to masks, however window prices were steep. I would have been happy to make my purchase at the door - I had a specific shopping list however I was not given that option and was instead spoken to like a child. Also the locking the door behind people is really weird and unnerved me as a lone female shopper.
Would love to give this 0 stars! The man working in the shop is awful! Nasty, horrible attitude. Locked a 15 year old and 12 year old in which shocked and worried them then proceeded to follow the 12 year old extremely closely. He was incredibly rude and nasty to them. I posted a review on their Facebook page and got nothing but attitude back. Judging by the reviews I’ve read here, the man in question is not a nice man at all and is at the centre of each bad review! The shop claims the door is locked in order to manage numbers but the man on the door could manage them just fine if he didn’t feel the need to follow the customers around the shop! Surely locking the customers in is against health and safety and fire regulations? On the FB page they admitted locking the door then in another comment insisted no one is locked in because the key is left in the door therefore people can let themselves out. Not really the point and also is NOT explained to people when they enter. This shop gives serious bad vibes!
