Ordered a taxi 4 days in advance to pick myself and 3 others up to get to the funeral directors for my Dad's funeral. I made this request online, documented in the comments section that we were needing to get to the funeral directors and followed it up by a phone call to ensure it was booked. The day of the funeral came, after 20 minutes waiting past the requested time, I phoned them to see where the taxi was. I was informed that it had not been dispatched yet. I explained the importance that I needed to get to the funeral directors for my Dad's funeral. They told me that I would be put on a priority list. Totally unacceptable service. We ended up cancelling the taxi and drove ourselves, subsequently incurring high car parking charges to leave our car in Bury whilst we attended the funeral and wake using the funeral cars. I would never recommend this company.
Constantly late, cancel taxis without letting you know, rude operator. Turned up half an hour late for our airport run which was booked the week before because they 'couldn't find a driver'. Such a shame because there are actually some really nice taxi drivers who work for the company.
Like Chalk and Cheese. Had a taxi to airport for flight no problems at all with booking as arrived in plenty of time. However very angry and annoyed with service after return flight. Booked for half eight and had message that driver was in car park around 8.05 but got out airport around 8.20 so got text then. We walked to airport car park specified but could not see the taxi. I called number that text came from and was told by Driver I am busy on a job if you want a taxi ring main office. When called office, all before half 8 when taxi booked for, was told my booking had been cancelled. Said would send another taxi in 15 to 20 mins but was 9.10 before actually got a taxi. Will not use or recommend this company and spread the word they are unreliable!
Useless and ignorant. Booked an early taxi to attend family funeral. 20 mins after it was due I phoned to ask where it was, they said 'almost there traffic is busy.' A further 10 mins later, I phoned again to be told. 'it's not left yet.' Cancelled.
Driver turned up on time but moaned about not not making enough money on airport runs. When we got to the airport he told us the price was indeed £38 as quoted but it didn’t include “parking” and charged us £5 extra also dumped our stuff in a puddle! Rang and complained to Elton cars and they said basically he has ripped us off!!!! No refund etc won’t use again!
Last night we waited an hour in the freezing cold for them to just not show up! What a pathetic excuse for a taxi company. Use literally anyone else because monkeys could do a better job than these people. I hope your company goes bankrupt because you don’t deserve any business. There was absolutely no point in pre booking because we still had to call them about 6 times confirming where we were and apparently he couldn’t find us even though there is only one pick up place! Wow, completely useless. What a waste of time, no wonder Uber is taking over taxis if this is how they run their firms. I also know someone that is a regular that is definitely never going to use you again!
Thank this driver for parking in a disabled bay to do his shopping this preventing actual disabled people using it. Then to make matters worse the language he used towards the elderly disable couple who told him he shouldn't be parked there was atrocious.
Don’t even bother using this company for your taxis. My grandma was getting out the taxi and the driver drove off whilst she was still trying to get out causing her to fall over and hurt herself! Absolutely no patience at all and considering she’s elderly it’s honestly disgusting. She now has to go to the hospital thanks to you guys. The drivers plate was VX63 BVM - you should be ashamed!
Felt awful for the taxi man This morning I couldn't pay him I only had card on Me and he only accepted cash. I said to them specially last night make sure you send someone with a card reader ! Because ive been using them alot recently. the guy on the phone this morning when I rang up asking how i could pay the taxi driver. he aggressively said its not his fault and sort it out! was so rude luckily I have sorted it with the taxi driver will not be using your services again!
Booked an airport transfer on the app. Got a notification it was on it's way and it arrived on time. Driver was lovely. Great service.
