Had a lovely walk around the gardens today with my family. The staff are friendly and helpful and the gardens are very well kept even tho it's autumn. We all enjoyed it and managed to grab a few snaps. Unfortunately the cafe was out of jacket potato's, hopefully we'll be able to grab one next time round as we will definitely be returning in the future. Playground: Looks clean and in good condition.
Fantastic place to visit! Gorgeous courtyard with cafe and peacocks. Staff are always polite and appear to enjoy working there. There are koi to feed and a play area that has had improvements over the last couple of years, although it could still do with a lot more picnic tables in this area. We have never had a disappointing day here. The Historic Houses pass allows free entry but Elsham also has their own annual pass too, which in my opinion would be worth every penny
Beautiful Place to visit! Absolutely stunning views especially with nature in full blossom. Very friendly staff, great park area with playground, carp pond with feed and the perfect spot for a tea at the local restaurant. Will definitely be back especially for that luxurious chocolate cake at the café.
Beautiful surroundings. Feeding the fish is great fun. The peacocks get everywhere. Also the home made scones in the cafe are simply delicious. Last but not least, the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful.
I thought it was lovely place to wander around for a day trip. There's an adventure playground to entertain the kids ‍, a variety animals and scenery to admire, and a lake full of carp with a feeding deck so you can throw in some food if you wanted too , you can also purchase bags of fish food at reception for a small fee x
I really don’t understand how anyone can add a negative review on here. People like Ian Lang talk utter rubbish! We Really enjoyed going here for lunch in the cafe for sandwiches and cake along with a small walk around the grounds afterwards. There are two very funny Alpacas, some sheep and goats, rabbits too. The park and cafe is run by some really nice people and you can also go at night to do pottery painting or classes I will be going painting in the new year to support this brilliant place Looking forwards to the summer to go again. Keep up the amazing work
Had a wonderful experience at Elsham Hall Gardens with my partner and mother. We ordered the sweet and savoury cream teas which were both delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. The cream tea was filling and scrumptious, and I will definitely be returning another time. The only thing that could be faulted, was an insect found in the coleslaw. The coleslaw was taken away with an apology from the staff, but it was not replaced! A lovely addition to the location was the field of friendly sheep as you enter the estate. We took the time to say hello and were greeted by the lovely sheep pictured below.
A great day out and value for money. No dogs are allowed though, this isn't a problem but always good to know before you set off with the dog in the boot. Park is very clean and well looked after.
Lovely morning out, nice coffee and cake. Wish we'd booked a table for lunch, the secret garden tea room was completely booked out. Next time!
Love it here! Great for family picnics, walks, observing nature. Peaceful and relaxing. Courtyard cafe is very good. Recommended
