Useful for all manner of hardware items and fittings and you only need buy the quantity you require , not the amount major hardware stores want to sell you. If you only want one nut, bolt, screw or hinge, that's all you need buy. The staff are also friendly and helpful and know where to find what you want.
We had a lock replaced by Ellis Hardware. Their service was excellent and fairly priced. Brilliant customer service, thank you . Would highly recommend.
Wouldn't recommend having keys cut - even to my untrained eye I could tell the key I was given wouldn't work. It had a completely different shape to my original. I was assured it was fine, however. When I returned after checking the key didn't work, there was no apology of any kind, or any compensation given for this inconvenience. They didn't seem to care at all. Really poor service and attitude
This is a great little shop, has everything you could need for your DIY tasks! Also, it does a great job of holding up the flat that my mum lives in off the floor! Good job!
Wheelchair accessible entrance. Helpful friendly staff. In home service and fittings. Clean work, quick response and good advice. Which saved us money and gave us the best product, for our money. Thank you Cliff.
I went in to ask about a back door lock that wouldn't work and the staff told me enough about it to take it apart myself, see what was broken, then when I went back to Ellis' shop they had the correct lock barrel on the shelf at a very good price. Excellent service from all of the staff I spoke to.
Excellent locksmith Eddy who works at Ellis direct very knowledgeable not only about locks but also about structural issues one needs to look into to make sure locks will work.He mended our screen patio locks but did pointvput that the frame was sagging causing the problem and suggested getting in a surveyor which we had overlooked . Thank you also reasonably priced for the job.
If you have an odd bolt or fixing and you only need one then this is the place to go. They have every type of nuts, bolts, screws and fixings you could ever need.
