Brilliant atmosphere and friendly place

Good atmosphere not crowded or full of young loud kids good pint friendly staff who will welcome anyone who just wants a drink and aren't upto mischief

Great local, Andy a brilliant landlord! Friendly service and very reasonable prices. All the people who go in here are great people who show their support at all times. How well they looked after my nephew Clayton and supported the family after his sad passing I will never forget. Love the place

Haven't been in for years but my visit yesterday was very pleasant..a good northern pub .. hoping to visit again very soon

I went to the pub after a funeral. The land lord and lady were very welcoming and friendly, the pub was small but clean, the food was home made potato pie with either pickled red cabbage or beetroot there was also a good mix of sandwiches. You could have either soft drinks or alcohol.

Excellent atmosphere and the bar staff always make you welcome 10/10

Nice little pub

Went for a a party someone else organised, nice pub in side but very small. Not been in for years since then and the party was in the day so not sure how busy it gets at night or weekends. Staff seemed friendly and prices seem cheap enough
