Nice course. Good inviting fairways from the tee box. Some long par 4s and a 210 yrd par 3. 16th drives over the 4th tee so can cause a little bit of a wait. 6th has a ditch right on driver distance running across fairway be careful. Overall very nice not too hilly course. Proshop and clubhouse very good.
We really enjoyed our visit to Ellesmere Golf Club @ The Bring & Buy Sale. Everyone was so friendly and made us very welcome. Delicious cakes!!! Thank You from Les & Janet Ravenscroft.
A lovely place to have a private function, bar staff were lovely. Food was very disappointing felt like I had to apologise to guest and you have to have them do the food if you hire the room.
Well what can I say absolutely brilliant course, with amazing greens running fast and ture, I will definitely be coming back. Awesome value for money.
My colleagues and I visited Ellesmere and was really impressed with the layout and presentation of the course. It presented a fair but sound golfing challenge with some long par fours and tricky par threes. Greens had a good pace to them and balls rolled nicely. We were welcomed into the club house with a nice pint and a hearty all day breakfast. We will certainly return soon. Well done Ellesmere keep up the good work
Great course in superb condition the greens are the best in the area Pro shop is manned by a very professional team who are both knowledgeable and friendly. The bar and catering staff are second to none The greens staff are a dedicated team with a passion for their work.
Played here for the first time this week, even though it is on my doorstep. Very good course with great staff. Chatted with Head Green-keeper who had great knowledge and passion for the course. Sounds like there are many good things planned in the very near future. The only slight down side was the four ball who purposely missed out hole 12 and 13 and jumped in ahead of us at 14 which then held us up. No wave through just sat taking their time and really annoying with lack of respect for other golfers especially as we were in buggy and they were on foot. But the club can’t help ignorance can they? Will be back though.
Some excellent holes, the course was very well presented, with decent true greens. The staff in the clubhouse looked after our society superbly.

Despite shooting 4 under my index .... I really did not like this course, the staff in the proshop were great...getting me out early before quite a big comp. The layout is odd, bordering on the dangerous in places, two many tee shots crossing paths and even greens ! 16th tee. On the day i thought the greens were very slow. Lots of similar length par4's and a par 3 to start and finish with. Not a course I would relish a return to.
