Really enjoyed lunch here. Friendly staff & great food…..The fish & Chips was delicious, with beautifully crisp batter mushy peas and great skinny fries. . Lovely outdoor space with plenty of tables. There is a large sandpit for the kids to play in. Reasonable sized car park, and nice clean toilets.
Had a lovely meal here last week. The service was fantastic with a great atmosphere. I had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly, the chips were fab and the honeycomb ice-cream for dessert was delicious!
Nice pub gardens ordered fish and chips twice at £13.50 each. My partners was fine however mine was overcooked and chewy to one side our food was not checked during our meal or when the plates were collected.
We hadn't lived in the village long when we stumbled upon this great little pub. Everything about is so well done. We have now been several times and it's not let us down as yet. The staff are welcoming and lovely, the menu is well thought out and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable and the carpark is generally available. When the car park is full its a good sign that the pub is busy. 10/10 oh I forgot to mention there is often entertainment to.
Best Sunday dinner ever I had roast beef I would give it 10/10, friendly staff and excellent customer service I will be back would recommend this place to anyone looking for best Sunday lunch in Kent
Booked for a birthday for a table of 7. Allergy info on the website but called ahead to make sure it would be ok for a nut allergy sufferer. Told ‘the owner will not have people with severe allergies on the premises, it is a business decision’. Trying to support small, independent business but being treated like a second class citizen due to an allergy.

We had a takeaway Roast dinner from The Eight Bells pub during lockdown.. the meal was delicious and excellent quality! Will definitely have their food again!!
