Story

Situated in the leafy suburb of Merchiston, the Edinburgh Steiner School offer places to just 350 children aged 3 1⁄2 - 18 years, and forms a caring community in which pupils of all abilities are welcomed, accepted and valued.

This year, our school achieved a Higher pass rate of 96%, one of the best in Scotland, with 50% of our final year pupils achieving 5 Grade As or better.

Offering a uniquely broad curriculum, small class sizes, modern language education from Class 1 and outstanding pastoral care, the school provides a multicultural environment which attracts families and exchange students from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the US.
