Care more about how the school is portrayed than the students. Head teacher acts as if it's a private school, uniform is more important than education. Also, if you dye your hair bright colours they assume you will find it difficult to function in life.
Went to the open day today 24/03/18. What an amazing building. From initial worries about the size of the site and the ability to fit the ever increasing school roll into the new building I was surprised how spacious and well laid out the interior actually felt, not to mention the quality facilities. The atrium is spectacular and the light from the enclosed outdoor areas filters into the building creating a fantastic atmosphere. I am slightly worried about the drop from top level to bottom level through the the atrium but it is still very impressive.
Horrifying. Teachers do not help when abuse or bullying is present and some of which joined in with the bullying. Not pleasant, enrol you're child elsewhere.
Absolutely appalling, this is disgusting. This school is a joke, it gives public education a bad name, first of all, they extort money out of the students, how? They force students to partake in events which cost money, even if it is against the students wishes, a good example of this was a sporting event where each student was required to “donate money to comic relief” it’s quite funny how I saw the teachers pocketing a handful of the profit. They also insist that all pupils install the “Boroughmuir Bullyline App” for just £9.99 you can install the application and it redirects you to your SMS app, rip off, such a pathetic attempt to cash out on innocent students who fall victim to bullying. Disgusting, don’t believe me? Just go on the Google Play Store and search up “Boroughmuir” it’s quite shocking. And another point is that they made toilets everywhere just to mock you because they know that you’re never allowed to go to them, we have 6 periods a day, if you ask to go to the toilet at period 1 “you should’ve gone before school started”, if you ask at period 2 “just hold it, you have breaktime next”, if you ask at period 3 “should’ve gone at breaktime”, if you ask at period 4 “hold it until lunchtime”, if you ask at period 5 “why didn’t you go at lunch?”, if you ask at period 6 “do it after school”, I’m sorry but what the heck? If I need to pee then I need to pee, do they expect me to do it on myself?? The school sucks, also the guidance teachers are useless. If there’s a big fight where lots of people get hurt, they don’t care, nothing will happen, however if someone posts a tweet that offends someone you get excluded suspended. Also can I add that the teachers are pointless sometimes, it’s kind of like the bus drivers when you ask them where the bus goes and they reply with “I don’t know where it goes, I just drive the bus.” I may post another review that goes more in-depth in the future, however I believe this will suffice for now.
It's a school Allright.
