Took my Classic car in for an MOT.  I was advised to scrap the car as the recent welding done wasn't good. The advisor went on to say he knew a guy who would take the car off me.. & said if i drop by later he would give me his friends contact number.  I since got a recommended, & unrelated, professional quality Welder to inspect the vehical to which i was told by them that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the welding i had had done by the other previous unrelated welder, and that i should get the vehical MOD'd at a different garage. I then spoke to a restoration Classic Car Company who told me that to be advised to scrap this vehical was very unprofessional advice as these cars are becoming rare.
