Eden has been our church family for many years and we have been so blessed by being part of this community. There are all different ages and backgrounds joining together with shared faith. There are Sunday school groups for all ages up to 18 plus additional events for students in term time and mid week groups for international women, Bible studies, toddler group amongst many others.
I visited for a funeral so it's not a representative sample. However, the bits that are relevant were all good. It's a bright and airy building with a sense of being a place of worship. The people I met who are regulars there all seem genuine and friendly.
Really friendly and approachable. Excellent Bible teaching from the minister and a genuinely funny kids talk. Kids have their own age groups, but they start of with the rest of the church family for the service. There are also groups for students, 20s&30s and midweek housegroups. Teas and coffees served after the service.
Friendly congregation. Music is a mix of traditional and modern songs. Congregational rich in that a broad diversity of life situations demographics represented in this quite big church of probably 300 to 500. Preaching is the focus of the service and weighty. The style of preacher is a bit like John piper... It is not just the content of the talk that is important in this church but how it is delivered and how it has been learnt and experienced by the preacher that counts. There is also a richness of life experience represented amongst the leadership and congregation.
This church has awesome Bible teaching and its format is suitable for people of all ages. They use a balanced mix of traditional and contemporary worship music. Sunday services are 10am and 6pm.
Gospel focused church. That's all a church should be. As a visitor, received a good welcome for a well sized church.
Friendly and welcoming, two services a week plus a variety of other activities for people like mothers & toddlers, internationals, over 50s, etc. A great café on Saturday lunchtimes for shoppers too.
Simple, honest and modern worship services; very welcoming to all to drop in and with very active kids groups and kids slots.
Wonderful family church. Such a warm welcome. Faithful and passionate preaching.
Best ever church. In all seriousness, Eden is great for focusing on deep and faithful Bible teaching, and for building community.
