I would highly recommend the EBS team at Blanchardstown for all of your mortgage advice. We have been with EBS since 2019 for both our mortgage and our house insurance too and have had a really positive experience with them. For myself and my partner we received the best of support and no-nonsense advice from the team there. Stephen, the branch manager was a pleasure to work with. He made our lives so much easier and was so thorough in his explanation of the entire process. We are so pleased to have chosen EBS and would highly recommend anyone who is shopping around to drop into the branch in Blanchardstown before deciding on what to do. The mortgage process can be very daunting, but thanks to Stephen at the EBS team we got great clarity on what we needed to do, which eventually helped us in getting our dream home.
From the get go Stephen and his team made the whole mortgage application journey simple and seamless. They guided us through the whole process from end to end and explained everything clearly to help us make the best decision for us and our family. Very personal yet professional service that I'd be happy to recommend for anyone starting on their mortgage journey.
This bank is the worst I've banked with. It took me a year to get my bank account set up, including phone pairing and all that. Then every few months when banking online no message is sent to my phone and every time I am told I have to re-link my phone to my bank account so I have to wait 3 days to get a new code to do that. After 3 years of this, eventually someone on the phone tells me to use the Authenticator app on my phone, which I had my only used when re-pairing my phone and in 3 years of ringing customer service nobody ever said that to me! A few months ago they have taken off branch's individual phone numbers and you can only get through the national customer care no., however now you can't even talk to someone on the general line because it goes straight to the beep and you leave a voice mail, not even a greeting message, excellent!
