Excellent quality and taste. We ordered the sweet potato curry and the halloumi salad - and we were not disappointed! The restaurant's location is also great, the staff was very helpful - overall a great experience. The only reason for the rating of 4 and not of a 5, is because of its limited choices for vegans and vegetarians - other than these 2 options there is nothing. Having said that, these 2 dished are definitely recommended and definitely worth the visit.
Eat 17 is comprised of a warm, welcoming, upscale restaurant as well as a dedicated cafe space, and a market that offers an outstanding selection of items/inventory. I was warmly greeted by a member of staff and then seated at a comfortable table. I ordered the avocado toast with bacon and poached eggs. The dish is beautifully presented and delicious - which my ‘before’, ‘during’ and ‘after’ pictures attest to.
Great food and even better service. A must-visit for anyone in Walthamstow. Chicken burger over the beef burger every day of the week Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Reasonable kids menu
Cool atmosphere. Bathrooms are always clean. Generally quick and hassle free service. The standard breakfast items are great. My wife and I ordered the tacos for lunch today and was very disapointed. They immediately fell to bits and I was left to eat the fillings off the silver taco platter. I hate complaining. But as these 4 tacos cost me almost 23$. I felt compelled to say something. Obviously, this has been an issue because when i complained. The staff said that they had experienced the same problem. Yet, they put the blame on the cooks. They comped us for 1 taco meal when I ordered 2. Eat17 is not a cheap establishment. But the tacos couldn't be made more cheaply. Take it off the menu. Or turn it into a bowl. Simple as that.
Had dinner on different occasions and the food was amazing. The restaurant is located in a very nice area on the Main Street in Walthamstow Village and staff are very friendly. I recommend to try their cocktails as they are very tasty.
This is such a lovely restaurant. Really nice interior, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming to families and babies. The menu is really interesting and has some lovely stuff on there, although I rarely venture away from the chicken burger, which is sensational. Really crispy Korean style chicken, lovely fries and a delicious sauce. It’s a total banger. A really wonderful neighbourhood restaurant with friendly staff that has consistently excellent food. A winner. Kid-friendliness: Lots of babies and prams there at lunchtime, very family friendly
We count ourselves so lucky to have a place like this within walking distance from our house. The service was excellent and the food delicious. A modest recommendation to the management is to look at the acoustics in the space because it can be hard to hear the person over the table from you. I’m only being picky because acoustics is part of my job, it didn’t detract from a great experience.
Nice friendly staff, Fantastic breakfast rolls and the sausages are delicious, food on the pricey side 2 coffee's and 2 rolls over £30 and you pay a service charge at the end of the day its a cafe/restaurant on the side of a shop...
The food here is pretty good. The starters were good, with the tenderstem broccoli being the pick of the three we had to share. The chicken wings portion was large enough for a main. All of the main dishes were good and there were almost as many vegetarian options as non-veg. The vegan burger was good with unusual, not unpleasant, flavours. My only issue was with the service. Saturday nights are bound to be busy, and the place was full. But we had a long enough wait between taking our order and the starters that we thought they might have forgotten about us. And then one of the waitresses kept leaning over people to place or collect plates. It takes no time to walk around the table and that isn't rude. I'd go back, just not when they're busy.
Great menu, and both the food and the service always delivers. We had a family meal and half of us went for the Sunday roast option and half of us had a la carte. Delicious fresh ingredients, great wine list and yummy cocktails. Baby friendly with room for a pram as long as you let them know when you book. Highly recommend
