We came across Randy's wings bar and were looking for a quick bite and came The wings came out quickly and were very well cooked and there was plenty of seating outside near to the canal perfect for a warm summers day! We sampled a few winga and must say that the buffalo wings could have packed more of a punch and would have suited a blue cheese sauce. Overall, it was a great place to pit, stop, and sample some tasty wings!
We did a 3 hour stroll along the canals and needed fuel to keep going. Stumbled upon this gem of a place. Cozy and warm - a very much needed respite from the cold. Tantalising aroma of crispy wings was in the air. The service was attentive and food was really good.Food: 5/5
Amazing staff, very polite and listening. Absolutely loved the wings and burgers, Royal Cheese Burger was so satisfying in many levels, pickle salad was above the expectation, also spicy and garlic-parmesan wings were my most favourite - Added to my favorite spots by the canalFood: 5/5
Good food, but it was smothered in too much sauce. Way too salty. With less sauce or salt it would've been pretty great. Great location by the canal though!
First time here with my friends today. We go to a Uni on Here East. The service was amazing, the servers were so kind and friendly and very helpful! We had the deal to get free fries and it was so worth it! The wings were amazing! So juicy, chicken was amazing quality and lots of it and there was plenty of sauce! I had the Kansas bbq one and it was amazing! My friends had the buffalo and the garlic and Parmesan and they both said they were delicious! Fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. This is our new go to place! Especially with the 5.99 deal they do too! We are going to bring our other friends her next time! Can’t praise this resturant enough! You have got to try it!!! EDIT: 22/5/24 ,Also the manager H was a really nice guy! We came yesterday and my friend accidentally ordered the wrong wings but he too wasn’t fussed, his mistake. H put through his wings that he wanted, for free! which was so kind!

Last time I visited randy’s around 5 years ago it was one of the best wing joints in town, this time however it was massively disappointing. The wings were small and had a bit of a funny smell to them, the buffalo sauce is unremarkable, nowhere near as good as it used to be. The lemon and pepper/korean wings were a bit better but still fairly underwhelming. If you are getting 5 wings randy’s charge you £7.45, I was expecting whole wings for this price but what i got was 5 half wings, again disappointing. They do have a few vegetarian options available which is good, my partner had cauliflower wings which I preferred to the chicken wings. Service was fine but no one came back to check if our food was ok and no one ever came to clear our plates, but they did slap 12.5% service charge on for the pleasure. Maybe the place has been taken over by new owners/management but randy’s is not what it once was. Good place for some wings as the name suggests… and rest of the menu is pretty decent. Wish they had a few better beers on tap considering they’re 3 mins from Crate Brewery and Howling Hops. Gets some good sun in the afternoon too and an outdoor area overlooking the canal.Recommended dishesChicken Wings, Chips
It was 6 years ago when I first reviewed this unique restaurant. It had a really positive vibe to it, staff were sharp and friendly, and their pièce-de-résistance buffalo sauce was to-die-for. A bastion for independent business and tasty food. However, I recently visited on an early Sunday evening and found the place to be a shadow of its former self. I was first disappointed by a poorly-trained staff member who, had I not said hi first would've walked right past me despite establishing eye-contact. I know that experienced service staff are hard to find in the current climate but this was not a promising start. Luckily, the manager was helping out with taking orders and was a good deal more service-oriented. Still it seemed like there wasn't much enthusiasm present and staff just seemed tired. The bigger disappointment however was that signature buffalo sauce. It's no longer there. I ordered buffalo cauliflower wings as you can see from the receipt and found it very difficult to feel any spice. Very bland. I remember previously that the plate was oozing with the good stuff. But as you can see in the photo there's none of that. A dramatic difference to the memorable Randy's of yesteryear. The fries were well cooked but could've been seasoned better. It's a real shame as I like to support small businesses and this one is worthy for accommodating vegans, but I'm afraid to say Randy's didn't deliver this time. Been before but had a fantastic Sunday afternoon for a birthday. Great food, great vibes and H really looked after us to help make it extra special. Buffalo wings are always amazing and the Casablanca wings were next level. Thoroughly recommend this place!
