A huge park with lots of space for exercise, dog walking, jogging and other forms of exercise. Near the entrance is a kid's park with lots of fun rides and a sand pit. There is also a lake that you walk down homemade wooden steps and has many ducks, swans and other wildlife. Ice cream vans are always around in the summer months to enjoy an ice cream and a newsagent is next door to the entrance.

Lovely combination of large open playing fields regularly used by football teams as well as a large secluded lake with a plethora of wildlife and a wonderful riverside trail leading to Snuff Mills and beyond.

A place to walk the dog and children to have a nice stroll or skate or ride their bikes Feed the ducks geese swans .so open and spacious .A nice park .The play area needs some attention as in no slide which used to be there .

A large open park area, with big playing fields, a slight hill, ideal for jogging, sports and just chilling. The park is in a working class, fairly urban area and is quite popular with local residents. Near the bottom is large lake with a population of gulls, ducks and geese, the path you can follow takes you out towards snuff mills. The park has some railings though not all the way along, there is no opening or closing time. Generally I'd say it seems a pretty safe place to be morning, afternoon or evening, wouldn't go there at night though. There is some play equipment there at the top too for children and a basketball court. Some football and cricket games are held on the weekend as well as park runs. Eastville Park contains a lot of dog walkers as nearly all parks in Bristol do. Down by the lake keep an eye out for crows, black headed gulls, mute swans, a grey heron, mallards, moorhen, coots and even kingfishers. All in all a nice oasis in the city.

Great fishing in the lake and river seen a 20 almost 30 pounder jump fully out of the water. Angry perch in the lake and strong chub in the river with a chance of a brown trout.
