East kilbride Used Cars Centre was recommended to me by several folk I know who regularly buy quality second hand cars. My experience when visiting the showroom was excellent....no hard sell. Stevie is extremely knowledgable, friendly and patient. After a test drive Stevie recommended I went home and thought about my choice of car ...no hard sell ...he was willing to hold the car for me while I did this. On the day of purchase Stevie very kindly took time out of a busy showroom to drive my car to my home ...as I was anxious about driving in Ek Two months into owning the car ..its a wonderful car and am quite delighted...I had query about tyre pressure. It was no problem for me to take the car back to showroom where the very helpful Tommy checked all tyres, reset tyre pressure and advised me what to do.. As someone who does not know much about cars Tommy was happy to answer all my questions and was also very knowledgable. I felt so reassured with with this wonderful aftersales service! I would throughly recommend this company ..price of car was very good and their knowledge and aftersales followup is brilliant !

Bought a Juke in November 2022 for my daughter from this garage. No pressure at all when went to view the car and was given the keys to take on a test drive on my own. Car was fitted with a new timing belt and water pump as part of the deal. Handover was when agreed and everyone I spoke to at the garage were professional at all times. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from again.
Myself and my family are on our fifth car from Stephen Lindsay and his team, I think that speaks for itself. There's not a more friendly, fair and accommodating dealer here in East Kilbride. I recently bought a mitsubishi outlander from Stephen in EK used car centre. I’ve had really bad experiences before with other second hand cars and dodgy dealers once even having to be a witness for Trading Standards I came across the centre while out and about in EK and I’m so pleased I did! We found exactly what we were looking for! Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the stereo but as soon as I called Stephen I think it was just to ask advice to be honest because I didn’t think it was his issue to solve he sorted EVERYTHING! He knew exactly who to turn to and picked up the bill! Have never came across a car dealer this nice and genuine! I want to thank him and his team for easing my anxieties with buying a second hand car. He’s really gone above and beyond! My partner’s hard to please and even he said he’ll be going back to him for any future car buying
Would give zero stars if I could. I haven't been 100% happy with the car since getting it last year, with the air conditioning not working - which I wish was the only problem. When I questioned the brakes I was shot down by the 'mechanic' who knows everything. When the air conditioning was 'fixed' it came back with a cap missing, and the light fitting still disconnected. This now has a leak that it didn't have before and needs replaced. There was a knocking underneath that I went back about that was allegedly fixed, but clearly was just a temporary fix because it started again within a week. I was no longer prepared to go back to them after being accused of being passive aggressive in my emails - I could and should probably have been more assertive. Last week I went to have a tyre changed and it turns out the alloy locking key was not provided either so that has cost me an additional £80 to have the locking nuts removed as Ford can't provide a new key and £80 for new ones. Sent an email about this but had no response at all, not even that they can't help. Now the car is in for an MOT not even a year provided with the car and the health check has thrown up just short of £2000 worth of essential work to have the car roadworthy. This is not due to my wear and tear. All of the underside is basically needing repaired or replaced. I will 100% never buy from these guys and would advise anyone else not to.
Went in today to look at a Mercedes SLK I’ve been after for a while, for my wife. The car was immaculate and really in mint condition. It wasn’t the cheapest around , but the service received from Stephen and his staff was truly fantastic. We negotiated a fair deal for the car, I went away to think it over and I decided it was the deal for us. I phoned Stephen and told him I was going to go for it. He moved his staff on to the car , got it fully serviced and immaculately valeted to allow me to pick it up the same day. We highly recommend this local business and don’t hesitate to give them a go. Support your local businesses and give them a chance over the big companies . You will be surprised here.
UPDATE 14/02/2023 7 years of good publicity - now time to tell truth about what actually happened after. Turns out the Mini was completely ragged and the engine blew up like, flumes of smoke in a roundabout with my 2 kids in the car. Incredibly stressful for my partner. Took it to BMW specialists in Ibrox - head gasket gone, unrepairable, so was scrapped. Also bought a 320i here - loads of issues. Cost me same again in repairs on both cars. Be careful ! Can't believe the earlier negative reviews either - certainly contrasts with my experience. We arrived near to closing time on a Sunday - but Graeme allowed us time to look at a Mini Cooper S, which was in great nick. We bought the car the following weekend at a keen price - with a new full year MOT and 1 month warranty. Graeme and Stephen helped my partner out with all the paper work. We've found the after sales service to be excellent - there was a problem we hadn't spotted with the boot. The Mini was back in within a couple of days, and my partner was offered a lift back home, and picked up when the boot was fixed. Just driven the Mini today for the first time - sweet car ! Overall, impressed.
