My reservation was quick and smooth in a quiet time just after new year. I wonder why the full insurance doesn’t cover any damage on wheels and windscreen when it cost almost the same as the rental… However I didn’t have any damage. I used to renting cars once a month with plenty of experiments worldwide.
The rental price was good but when picking up the car told insurance would be £560, £220 more than the rental. Took £1500 on credit card as damage waiver. No doubt will find something wrong and keep some of the money. Would definitely not use them again.
Overall the staff where helpful and friendly. However the car I received had many defects. Had been damaged before my rental and suffered numerous electrical faults. It managed what i wanted. At least when i booked it back in there was no discussion about the damage. The manager just said he knew the history of the car and accepted it back. But perhaps the car should have not been allowed on rental until fixed
This is the second time we have rented from Drivalia Luton Airport. On both occasions, the car has been a new model and well presented. The staff that we dealt with have been very polite and courteous and the pricing is excellent compared to competitors. Transfer to and from the airport is also free. Another point to note is that the Drivalia office is open later than most competitors, so if you have a late arrival/departure, you have less chance of incurring an out of hours charge.
Decent cars at a good price, with friendly, helpful and courteous service. Bailed me out late on a Friday night after Europcar had closed. At 2100. Crazy early for a supposed London airport. And even though they had my flight details so would have known it had been delayed.
Fast check in service as always, clean & safe car. But above all as always excellent customer service by Mark! I have rented here various times & many times with Mark attending me. Always smiling, helpful & positive. Keep up the good work Mark!
Efficient, quick check in I logged in online beforehand, added photo of driving licence and passport. Access from Luton airport by bus from bay R runs every twenty minutes. Good price, new car - FIat 500 with 100 miles per day limit can pay extra for non limit, £400 excess deposit. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended!!!
Booked the vehicle at 10am, arrived at 9:45, then been told the other customer was arriving late so I will have to wait 30 minutes for him to return the vehicle. Waited till 10:30, then I’ve been told the other customer is extending his booking which means I will have to use another van. He brought another van out which 1 of the side mirror is damaged, engine light is on, petrol light is on which at that point I am not sure if it can make it to the nearest petrol station. Van is not clean and full of dirt inside. I have a job to do which I have no choice but to take it. The worst part is after I arrived to my first destination, I’ve noticed there is a bottle of yellow liquid behind my driver seat. It is absolutely disgusting and I don’t even want to touch the van nor did I want to tell my wife to create any unnecessary stress for her. I couldn’t imagine this can happen especially we are in this Covid situation. This is by far one of my worst experience in renting cars/ vans in my life. I am not too fuss about the condition of the vehicle, but if I am renting something, I will expect a fully working, clean vehicle at the very least. I have already contacted customer support and I have no reply for the past week.
This is a scam setup. I managed to get the car I hired after being forced to pay £300.00 suprise fee when I truned up at 11.30pm that I had booked, and had literally no other choice. I am in talks with citizens advice on reporting them.
I've used Easirent at a couple of UK airports. I've never been disappointed so far. Rental as agreed, no hidden extras, no hassling you to purchase additional services. Out of hours key drop for return. Only thing I would like to see is confirmation of vehicle returned ok out of hours.
