A great gym with friendly helpful staff, about everything you could ever want from a equipment point of view and the pool area is great and we'll maintained too. As a Bangor university student myself I prefer DW as it's a lot less crowded and I feel easier to workout at with less booking bullshit. The store upstairs is great and very well stocked and I often use my members discount and was surprised the other day to receive a free pass for a friend when purchasing. Overall a great gym and shop, would and have recommended it to many friends.

Great equipment, Great Classes, Great pool facilities.. please get a fountain in the pool area.

The gym is ok however be warned a lot of the pool is taken up with kids swimming lessons its hard to exercise in the space that left in the pool especial when there are children in the main part of the pool waiting for their lesson, splashing about with their parents. I also very much dislike the company policy that you have to give a months notice before cancelling your membership. Most companies nowadays such as amazon or Netflix, allow you to cancel whenever you want and not to be forced to pay for things you are not going to use. I would recommend the Bangor university gym as it offers better weights training equipment and a lower cost. you do miss out on the pool , but with the amount of kids in it , you don't miss much.
