Fantastic, very well-stocked shop! Prices are very competitive, especially compared to Tesco where we usually do most of our shopping. The vegetables are noticeably fresher, everything is spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly!! I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended — 5 stars!
Dunya is an excellent Arabic/Kurdish supermarket with a halal butchery and a fantastic Arabic bread bakery. It’s our go-to place for fresh, high-quality products at very good prices. The selection is great, the staff are friendly, and everything is always well stocked. Highly recommended!
I bought some products from Donya and I’m happy with them. The ingredients I got included pistachios, chickpea cookies, and traditional Gaz, all of which were good.
Disappointed with lamb mince, asked if it didn’t have too much fat in it, butcher said it’s perfect with no fat as he made it earlier and I was wouldn’t be disappointed. The photo will show you how much fat came out of the mince. By this i think around 300 grams of fat was in the mince … not what I asked for.
We absolutely love this supermarket! We travel from far every week to do our food shopping. The selection of meat and vegetables is always amazing, and we look forward to our visits.nnHowever, we recently had a disappointing experience with an Egyptian gentleman in the meat section. He mixed up our orders and his facial expressions came across as very rude. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we've felt this way, and we hope it won’t deter us in the future.nnNext time, we plan to have a conversation with him about our experience because we believe in addressing issues respectfully. After all, we are customers who pay for our meat, and we look forward to a more positive interaction in our future visits!
