I don’t understand how they knock the Door when they have something to be handed!!! I never heard any knock from them and I find out they left the paper note that we didn’t open the door!!! The funny thing the item I lost to open the door for was sign please knock the door ! Then how to let them to knock the door next time!!!!!!
I have always been provided with excellent and efficient customer service at Royal Mail's Gateshead delivery office.
Great, polite staff who deserve so much better pay packets for the service they provide.
Went to collect a parcel yesterday within the advertised opening hours on the website and posted on the door to find the ofgice closed.
The laziest bunch of people ever. Royal mail have a terrible reputation of just putting the card through the door to say they missed you, when you were indoors all along and they never even knocked. This has happened to me several times and to others I know. This is absolutely appealing, considering it is meant to be in the public sector and customer service is supposed to be priority. They basically want you to go collect your parcel at their office rather than delivering it. They just can't be bothered. Terrible service which needs to change!
Been here many times over the years staff are always great no problems & they are open longer hours now so I can pick my parcels up when I finish work

Great staff that I've encountered. Very helpful and friendly. The Post office wouldn't take a few parcels but popped to the delivery office and they sorted it without any issues. I prefer this office now to going to the post office.
Staff are always friendly but parking can be an issue.
If you miss a parcel its a simple case of going here to collect it. Parking is limited unless you use store car park next door.
