We had new kitchen flooring done last month and couldn’t be happier with the end result. The job was more complicated than we originally thought but they sorted it without any hesitation and did a fantastic job within the timescales that they originally set. Would 100% recommended and will using them to replace more flooring in our property.
Called into see Naz and explained we were buying a new build wanted LVT throughout the downstairs and Hudson carpet to remainder - took his advice on colours, design etc absolutely 1st class advice and fitting team brilliant - thank you to you all - would highly recommend
Used these guys for carpet fitting for the first time. Absolutely fantastic service from first point of contact to fitting. I explained what I wanted and where the carpet was for and was actually advised against a more expensive carpet that I’d picked which is unusual as generally people are out to get the most money from you. Fitting was quick and efficient and even when I threw them a curve ball it was no trouble for the fitters. I would 100% recommend and won’t hesitate to use them again.
Excellent service from start to finish. Carpet and LVT flooring ordered and fitted. The job threw a bit of a challenge but they went out of their way to make sure it was a perfect finish. Always good to use a local independent company.
Called in today to pick up some propane gas. Super helpful and friendly service. Will be back again I'm sure. Cheers
A treasure chest of a hardware shop operated by a knowledgeable, extremely helpful owner. Local businesses such as Dunston DIY Centre deserve all the support we can offer. We simply cannot afford to lose shops like this from our local areas!
One time visit but service was great, and trader information was valuable
Well where to start I have been using the store since it opened Alex is one of the nicest lads you could meet always helpful and friendly but this last week he has pulled all the stops out I have had my whole house carpeted with carpets from the shop ,along with Alex Naz and Chris the fitting was so professional nothing was to much trouble because I was on my own they moved all my furniture and lifted my old ones I can’t praise them enough take my advice don’t go else where Thankyou so very much. Margaret.
Very rude when unable to wear a mask due to health problems. Gov website states “ Those who have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering should not be routinely asked to give any written evidence of this, this includes exemption cards. No person needs to seek advice or request a letter from a medical professional about their reason for not wearing a face covering. Some people may feel more comfortable showing something that says they do not have to wear a face covering. This could be in the form of an exemption card, badge or even a home-made sign. This is a personal choice and is not necessary in law.” Totally unacceptable to expect someone to wear a mask when they have health problems making them unable to. Even when showed exemptions card from doctors deemed it as unacceptable and ‘needed to go onto gov website and print aliments’ . Absolutely disgusting customer service.
Highly recommended. Pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable when needed. A vast stock of goods for all of your D.I.Y. needs, and all at competative prices.
