Really slow service on a Sunday afternoon. But the food was worth waiting for. This was the best pub Sunday Roast I have ever had. Defo worth the wait.

Recently refurbished. Very good restaurant. Interesting and varied menu. A little expensive, but what you would expect to pay in a good village location. Quality ingredients used in the menu. Service is excellent, my three courses arrived at just the right pace. Usually quite busy, particularly Wednesday evening. The is an outdoor patio with nice views of St Lawrence's Church. Very relaxed atmosphere and no SKY Sports blaring out.

One of the loveliest pubs in the area. Easy to miss as off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Hits the mark in every way, the ambience, decor, food and drinks offer is first class, the real ales in particular are now superb. I thoroughly recommend this hidden gem.

Lovely food, fabulous staff and great surroundings! Perfectly thought out. Standard of food is exceptional at fair prices! Would happily eat here regularly.

Had a superb 50th birthday meal with friends and family, the snug (a small walled off are inside the restaurant area) was arranged for one large table to sit 12 which was very nice gesture. Staff very friendly and everyone thought the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
