Friendly welcoming place.good atmosphere.they often have both private and club functions in the back room which is very nice. They also have a live singer on a Sunday afternoon in the bar which goes down well with the locals.

You can't beat a classic working mens club. Not enough of them now. Have been here a couple of times for children's parties which are held in their back room. 

Does exactly what it says on the tin. As a bar it looks fine. For a party venue it may just help to be a little bit more secure with the doors to stop little children running out. Otherwise all good
