AJ's is a new and exciting 50's style American diner that caters for all.
located inside Nene Valley Motorcycle Centre Ltd, on the Leyland Trading Estate on the outskirts of Wellingborough which caters for all motorcycle needs such as training, sales & MOT / Servicing. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm, So why not ride out and call in for that special treat!

Fantastic authentic looking American style diner. Food is amazing & the lady running the Restaurant is wonderful five stars well earned.
Great diner, friendly, basic menu but fantastic proper Milkshakes!
Had breakfast there a full American affair including pancakes. Discovered they have dancing to 50's music on a Friday evening so went with our friends and had a really good evening. Food was good, atmosphere and music was really welcoming as was everyone there. We certainly will return.
Authentic 50's style diner which is family run and stylish decor including free Duke box. The meals are aply named and always tasty would recommend for the experience. The staff give you a warm welcome and there is a connected dance studio for rock and roll. Love this place
Looking for somewhere different for a family breakfast we settled on AJ's Diner. We'd been there before a long time ago when it was part of a Scooter & Motorcycle shop which now seems to have gone and thought we would give it another go. If you want an american style breakfast, without the high prices that the major chains charge, then you really can't go wrong. American Pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup, proper milkshakes, made with ice cream, and nice coffee too. The staff wear a 50's style diner outfit which goes well with the fixtures and fittings and makes the whole experience a great one. The only downside is the location, it's on a trading estate which puts it a little off the beaten track, but that just means that they try a little harder to please, and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile. If you can live with the location this is one of those hidden gems that is well worth the visit.
We discovered this little rock-n-roll gem when out for a visit to some friends. tucked away on the laurence leyland trading & industrial est. themed as a fifties diner and atmosphere. set above a showroom /dancefloor where events are held. our food was fresh cooked to order and served by friendly staff recommend you call in and see for yourself.
Visited for breakfast Sunday morning,very disappointed,service slow,cleanliness was ok, got drinks, all crossed off menu for bottomless cup of tea or coffee,with marker pen,very poor. finally got our meals I asked for toast with butter not margerine,but it came with margerine pre spread and soggy,the eggs were very undercooked,the sausages were cheap deep fried ones,hash browns ok, like I said soggy toast with cheap margerine, the bacon was good.wont go again.what a shame it seems like a nice place.
Despite there only being four other people in the place, it took more than half an hour for our food to arrive. My wife's burger was advertised on the menu as being served with sun dried tomatoes. There were none, only normal fresh tomatoes. I would give it another go though.
Amazing place, Amazing owners. We come for dance classes but have been for the breakfast and it's amazing too. Bill, Julie and Ann are awesome people <3
AJ's is a great period atmosphered dinner that serve great grub, & make you feel very welcome even after a 2hr drive to get there. Will definitely be returning & hopefully be able to join in with the jive.
