My favourite restaurant in London. They serve an eclectic ever changing menu showcasing the best of European seasonal produce. The food is ingredient focused with a great spread of meat, fish and veg options. Order plenty and share. The front of house wine knowledge is second to none and they have possibly the best wine cellars in London. Cosy and tucked away in Soho this is the perfect place for a quick bite and a glass of something special, or a long drawn out meal with friends and many bottles. Request a table outside for top tier people watching
Second time at Ducksoup. Warm cozy environment and a cute date spot. Though, when speaking about the food, it’s good but nothing that will blow your socks off, and truthfully, it is overpriced. Food also came to the table warm instead of hot. The staffs were friendly and could tell they tried their best, but slightly inefficient— waited 30 mins for the bill and asked numerous times. Was a good last minute dinner spot in Soho but I would not deliberately go here.
Great restaurant in Soho with a fantastic atmosphere and a modern British menu focused on farm-to-table ingredients. They have an impressive wine list, mostly natural wines, and the staff are very knowledgeable—they picked a wonderful bottle of pét-nat for us. Highly recommend the cod, potatoes, bread, and carrots. We were a group of four, which was a bit tight unless you've booked one of the larger tables, so I definitely suggest reserving in advance; it’s usually hard to get a table otherwise. Heads up—their phones aren’t working at the moment, so if you need to change your reservation, you’ll have to email, which can be a hassle
Food was really delicious and tasty, just the portions were waaaaaaaaay too small in my opinion. I had a starter, a main 4 little ricotta balls, called “big plate” on the menu lol and a dessert: didn’t felt full when I’ve left the place. For 77 pounds service included quite annoying. Service was friendly, but could be better too. Music was ok. Lovely wine selection. Vibes were nice. I’ll give it another try next time I’ll be in London, cause the food was really a 10!
Finally made it to Ducksoup, and it was worth the wait! The food and wine selection was gorgeous, with each dish thoughtfully paced so we could savor every bite. Huge shout-out to our server, Naoya— very sweet, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a cozy, welcoming spot

What a cracking place. Absolutely delicious food that changes daily, cute friendly staff, great vibes and atmosphere. One to check out if you want to escape the mediocre restaurants of soho and central London. Best meal I've had in ages.Food: 5/5
Nice little restaurant in soho. The menu is very varied veggie, meat, fish and it changes very day! The drinks menu is also interesting as they have their own mixes and concoctions like the vinegar drinks. We shared 3-4 small plates, a main and a dessert. Recommend booking as it is very small. Wouldn’t come here with a big group of friends. More like a 2-4 ppl place. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Not so many vegan though.
Mussels, not fresh and super fishy. Quail, doesn’t melt off the bones making a terrible experience to eat. Sauce was below average. Pork cheek was very well done and the sauce was good too. However, the price for the small portion was absurd. On top of that, the onions still had their skin on. Kombucha was great, but the portion, again, small. Finished in a sip. Craft beer was terribly acidic. Sparkling water wasn’t served even though ordered. Bill came after a long time, and still came wrong. Conclusion: stingy portions, average food, poor service and won’t bother coming back. Better off going to Lobos in the adjacent street.
Ducksoup promises an eclectic range of European cuisines served in an intimate and lively setting. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, though other aspects of my visit left something to be desired. The bar table we sat at had very little leg room, so you'd either have to sit sideways or spread your legs. I'm usually not too fussed about seating but this was a little uncomfortable. We ordered the labneh, chargrilled quail and pork shoulders. It's probably our fault for not reading the menu carefully but the quail came with labneh so the dishes kind of overlapped. We did enjoy the labneh, but the pickled lemons on the quail were awfully sour. The pork shoulders were the best thing we ordered, virtually faultless and extremely tender. It did take a while to arrive though. Overall given the price tag, I expected to be wowed. Unfortunately I was not wowed. There are definitely places with better value for money in Soho.
