Just rang the surgery on behalf of my husband, within 10 minutes of me ringing the doctor rang my husband, asked him questions and prescribed antibiotics, and they will be with the chemist in an hour, brilliant service. I’ve also had great service for myself , they’re very caring. we moved to this area last year, and we were told how good they are , would recommend to anyone, they’re brilliant.
Thank you so much for always being so kind, caring, helpful and responsive. I’ve needed to see a Doctor a few times recently and the care has been brilliant every time. Yesterday I asked for advice online and within 2 hours I’d had a reply, been seen, and collected my prescription. Wingerworth is the best surgery I’ve ever used.
Best doctors I have ever been registered with. Lovely staff, the doctors are very personable and thorough. The service I have received has always been nothing short of excellent. I find the e-consult service really useful as I can struggle to get in for appointments for non-urgent matters.
Not going to go into the whole ins and outs of what I’ve been going through, but my GP’s in Wingerworth have been right behind me this week, and have made everything I needed possible. Thank you so much to all the amazing receptionists, nurses and doctors. Honestly the best DR GP I’ve ever had.

Having just moved to the Chesterfield area, from Sutton-in-Ashfield, I was worried about how easy it would be, to re-register at a new GP's practice. Even though it is a different health area, my husband and I, found the process surprisingly simple. The receptionists were so friendly and helpful to us, whilst we filled in 'new patient' paperwork. Plus, I was able to get straight in, with an appointment, to actually see Dr Nathan. A first actual face-to-face appointment, in the last 20 months! Wonderful.... They also very quickly diagnosed with & treated my husband for , type 2 diabetes.
Dr George, Dr Sid and Dr Anumba are three of the most amazing Doctors I have ever met - I see this surgery going from strength to strength with no problems getting an appointment and they care about their patients. The support staff are curtious, friendly, respectful and helpful; thank you, it really means so much during difficult times x
The service I have received over the past week has been fantastic from the young male receptionist, the 2 nurses and the Dr. To say the pressure they are currently working under, nothing has been too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this practice to anyone. You should be very proud of your team Dr Sid
I’m very impressed with this Medical Centre. Here the staff are very friendly and helpful and even though they are very busy with the Retinopathy examinations. They were prompt and took their time explaining the procedures. Thank You to all the staff. Because it made it a lot easier and it felt a safe environment during the current Covid-19 pandemic
Just been told I have to wait over 2 weeks for a telephone call from a doctor. I only need a referral for an ankle xray . Complete joke
