I’ve been a patient at this surgery since I was a child and they have supported my and my family through a number of illnesses over the years. In the past 5 years I have found them to be exceptional and the doctors always helpful and sympathetic.
Worst surgery in Maidenhead , avoid at all costs. Doctors are okay but the office manager is awful. She must sell the doctors a fake story but the running of the surgery/ admin are awful. Look elsewhere save yourself the stress.
In the 3 years of living in the area I don't think me or my wife have had a single encounter with this surgery without something basic going wrong. When I first registered as a patient they lost my form so I couldn't book an appointment, only for them to call me out of the blue months later saying they had my form and were trying to register me - clearly it was sitting in their office for months untouched. I'm sure it's not an easy job especially in the pandemic but these are simple things that are going wrong.
We are so lucky to have a small and caring Doctor's practice like Redwood House. I have been with this surgery for many years and have been fully supported medically & emotionally when really needed. I agree with reviews that the appointment system can be frustrating, especially for working people and the phone system can be a challenge, BUT overall the staff Reception Team, Nurses & Doctors are brilliant. Also thank you Redwood House for supporting our local community through covid. It has been a tough time for so many people but you were always there for us.
I have been a patient of this clinic for over 30 years and have always found the doctors, nurses and reception staff to be excellent. Having moved locally there is now a closer practice but I have no intention of transferring. Highly recommended.
The staff are OK, I've been here multiple times and it always seems to be an alright experience, besides a few things. I've requested multiple times for my meds to be on repeat and have been told they are, yet every few months they fail to be sent to the pharmacy. Calling is ridiculous, you'll be on hold for way too long, you'll be better off just going there in person and speaking to reception. The woman who is upstairs and deals with requests and files is borderline useless, I really don't think she has any desire to be working there as she takes months to put things through. Dr Ahmed is wonderful, really couldn't recommend her enough, lovely lady, has dealt with all my problems. The main reason this place is getting 3 stars. If I was to recommend this place, save yourself the hassle and do the extra excursion to someplace a little further where you'll actually be able to call or book.
This is a very small surgery with only two doctors available, so sometimes it is hard to get an appointment, but I have always been really pleased with the service I have received. The receptionists are really friendly and have helped me out several times. Someone has been there every morning throughout the Covid crisis and I am very grateful for that.
I've been a patient here for countless years and in the past, the surgery was excellent. In the past few years though, whilst the medical staff are still very good, everything else seems to have gone downhill. I'm actively looking for another surgery. Getting an appointment here is nigh on impossible - your best bet is to come in person to try and get something as the telephone system simply doesn't work. Even then, it's very hard to get a slot that fits into most people's working life. For me as a teacher, I'm at school before surgery opens and still there after it closes.Trying to get half-term appointments is impossible as all slots seem to be booked weeks in advance. It also seems that for certain routine things, these are only available on Monday and Tuesday. Trying to book online is no help either as it only shows two weeks in advance.
The appointment booking system is atrocious! You can't actually book an appointment inside of a month, but they allegedly open the day's bookings at 0800hr - so everyone is trying to scrabble for a phone line on the dot of 0800, and it took me 32 attempts to get a place in the queue...! I explained that I needed an appointment for my 9 year old; they replied that the only appointment I could have was in the middle of the day, meaning I'd have to take him out of school! We've been with this surgery for 30yrs, and the customer service has never been so bad. If you're thinking of registering with this surgery; DON'T!!
Phoned to get husband an appointment who suffers from ptsd and the earliest appointment is may 10th,for a face to face or 7th May phone call,so I booked the 10th was so disappointed and there was no concern from staff ,I have been with this doctors for 25 years but it has started going down hill rapidly and u start to trust and get a patient doctor relationship and the next thing they are no longer there.Bring back Dr sidery
