Bin not collected and tagged despite being valid contents. Then discovered we now have to pay for simple garden waste uplift via burgundy bin. Even grass which is normally lifted. £45. Er no. I simply won't recycle now. Already pay an increased council tax. Where is that going? Into the pockets of incompetent staff. You screwed up again council. We weren't born yesterday
I have had to deal with the staff on a regular basis at the Council HQ and cannot fault them because they have shown me nothing but patience courtesy and I find them very helpful. Given they are the first point of contact they're likely to be the ones who get the brunt of the anger and frustrations from others but personally I have never had an issue and they must deal with many hundreds of phonecalls in a day. Thank you everyone....from Inverness with love and a whole lot of appreciation
Absolutely disgusting. Talk about rinsing people of their hard earned money, 2 days in a row I have had a packing ticket for parking at my work, I watched the parking attendant walk the full length of glenburn road placing tickets on every single car parked in the industrial estate. My second ticket is an absolute joke. They said I was parked on the pavement which I wasn't, said that it was obstructing a walk way. No if I was to post a picture of this walk way you certainly be walking it as it's overgrown with bushes covering the pavement. I'm well aware of the new law been passed about parking on pavements, I don't necessarily agree with it, but the council rinsing people is not on. Not to mention the lack of everything they do in east kilbride for everyone. I'd be embarrassed to be working for them if this is how they behave.nI appealed this ticket and got a template response. Absolutely no care in world for the matter from the council. And if I'm honest they just providing bullshit excuses to why they are handing them out. If your going to single yellow line the whole industrial estate then provide parking, if you dont have the funds for it maybe cut funds that are going to your workers that sit in their vans all day or all the unnecessary postions I can imagine the council have. Don't even get me started on the state of the roads and roadworks in the area. Becoming the laughing stock of east kilbride is the council. Embarrassing. Disgusting. Criminal.
Total joke of a council. Worst website I've seen, no option to pay building standards warrant and need to call. Just waited for 35 minutes to be told they have a system error and calls can't be answered
Couldn't run a bath let alone a council; employees Think they are Gods Gift.
