I had to make an emergency visit after an abdominal injury. My treatment in A&E was exceptional, this was followed up by a stay on Abbotsbury ward. Staff on all levels were fantastic, caring and professional. Nobody wants to be admitted to hospital but the treatment I received made the ordeal so much more palatable.nnThank you everyone for your care .
Cannot thank the amazing staff at DCH enough. They have really taken care of my husband recently, the staff are super friendly and the surgeon did a fantastic job. The staff on day surgery ward especially, made us laugh and put us both at ease. Thankyou for all the cups of tea. Also a special thankyou to the incredible A&E staff. You never stop!
The day surgery staff were absolutely amazing to me today. Very efficient. Very kind and to be honest couldn't do enough for me . Can not fault them. Went above and beyond.
Nobody wants to end up in A&E, however the care I had here last night is some of the best I’ve experienced in the NHS across the country. Absolutely fantastic care from doctors, nurses and midwife from start to end. They were kind, professional and thorough, as well as patient when my family and I wanted clarity/ to ask questions. The staff should know that their hard work is very much appreciated and recognised. :
What an amazing hospital. Having moved to the area in the last 2yrs this has been my 1st experience of this place. Honestly from the moment of calling 111 to being taken by ambulance to the hospital I was so impressed with their quick service. The A&E team who helped me..a lovely lady called Shiny was so kind and helpful and to the nurse practitioner Leah who took her time to explain my virus I’d contacted. Amazing work NHS you all worth so much more.
