I had tried phoning the local surgery who hadn't been able to help as we are holiday makers and I suddenly remembered the Community hospital where I'd visited ages ago when I was stung by a bee at the carnival. A few days ago I felt wretched and needed antibiotics and my legs bandaged and everyone at the Community Hospital was so kind and loving I felt overcome with emotion. I left an hour later with antibiotics in hand, legs bandaged, temperature and blood pressure checked and an appointment for two days time for a final checkup. Thank you SO much. I wish we had you near us in London too...
Great team, especially the female nurse on staff yesterday in minor injuries. Seen to quick and got the medication within the hour from my pharmacy. Good manner too

Nothing but praise for the minor injuries unit: the receptionist in the actual unit could not be more caring and helpful, the same as the nurses: calming, professional and totally competent. A model for how such medical units should be. BMC Ammonite - please take lessons.
Took my 4 year old following a nasty bump to back of head. It was very quiet and we were in and out in no time. The nurse that saw Josh was lovely she made him laugh and made sure he had a positive experience.

I attended the Minor injuries unit today and I was treated and on my way in 45 minutes and that included an X-ray. The staff were kind and professional and my experience as a newcomer to the area was brilliant . Cant thank the staff enough.
I am a guest of Janet Eager for Christmas. I came in to the Minor Injuries Unit the morning of the 28th December. I am diabetic and suffer from ulcers in my toes. My diabetic podiatry clinic in London UCLH allowed me to visit Bridport for Christmas on condition that i was prepared to change the dressing on my foot during the visit. The young woman who looked after me understood exactly my needs and provided me with sterilised non adhesive dressing pads etc. I was able that evening to successfully apply a new dressing and I am truly grateful for the help I was given, so much appreciated, thank you
I was on holiday in west bay I began to feel poorly, went to this hospital , they were very efficient, and deal with my infection with antibiotics, can't praise them enough thank you
