First visited in 2023 bought a couple of Dreamcast Games the shop has such a wide variety of games as well as consoles from Atari, PlayStation, Nintendo, SEGA, Xbox and more all well represented here. It is a little difficult to find and a bit of walk from Doncaster town centre but well worth it. A must visit for gaming fans young and old. They will send items out if you don’t live nearby . I recently purchased a SEGA Saturn they sent it via Royal Mail it was very well wrapped and in very good condition see photos especially considering it’s age. I would encourage gamers to check out their website and visit their store in person if you can and support this local independent game store. Competitive prices, wide choice, good service and less risky than buying from private sellers on EBay. It’s been good to see the shop featuring on ITV Calendar news and on various YouTube channels in recent times too.
Doorway to Dorkness Little treasure Gem hidden in Doncaster. The range of collectables is amazing. My son has been searching for this type of store for ages. Definitely worth a trip down
Definitely worth the journey to visit this gold mine of retro wonders!nnThis shop is quite literally full to the brim of retro games and consoles! They have really utilised the space well for saying it looks quite small from the outside. From pop figures and Lego, to board games and Pokémon cards - they do it all! Easily the best variety of nerdy paraphernalia that I've seen in the country!nnAs self confessed hermits, we wouldn't usually find ourselves having a conversation with anyone in store but the staff are all just so friendly we couldn't not!! It's such a nice environment, we even found ourselves chatting away to other visitors!nnAll in all, a 10/10 shop and a 10/10 experience! Can't wait for our next trip to Doncaster just so we can visit again! Would definitely recommend!
What an amazing shop! My other half was like a kid in a sweet shop defo worth the trip from the Midlands.
Incredible experience at Doorway to Dorkness today. Fantastic staff and service as always. Great selection of products in stock and reasonable prices across the range. Will be back soon A+++
