Really great tapas, perfect on a sunny day - the octopus was the highlight!
They were nice to accommodate us in a tiny little table inside their tiny little restaurant, the layout is fun and quirky. We ordered a selection of warm tapas, and indeed they were all very tasty. Chief among them were the chargrilled artichoke hearts with blue cheese dip. Oh my god. That dish is worthy of any Michelin starred restaurant. The other plates were also very god just maybe not on the stratospheric levels the artichoke dish was. The pigeon was great, and the piquillo peppers came in a hearty and smoky stew. The lamb wasn't to my taste but others on my table enjoyed it. Overall a very worthy option in Brixton, and their menu changes seasonally so I'll be trying again.
Donostia Social Club catered a party for us at the weekend and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was truly delicious and enjoyed by all and the service impeccable. If you love Basque cuisine and if you haven't tried it, this would be the perfect introduction! and are looking for a stress-free, professional, gourmet experience these are your guys. Thank you!
Best option in pop brixton. Good-sized menu constantly updated, owned by someone clearly very passionate about what they do. Go for the scallops which are beautifully presented and served with flaked almonds for texture
Delicious plates of authentic tapas. Generous portion of salty, blackened padron peppers. Beautifully cooked cod fillet.
Kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Stunning chorizo and bean stew, squid in its ink, white asparagus. Everything was glorious, the sunshine and wine might have helped.
Delicious but woah, that was expensive lamb! I was a bit disappointed by the quantity considering the price. But the quality is arguably high.
Not much quantity. Tasty food but I think there's better options in pop Brixton. Bit expensive too.
They are on OpenTable but do not record bookings made on OpenTable?! They stop serving food by 20.30?! Bye bye butterfly
