Very disrespectful at the door even though a guest list was prepared for a reservation. The bar itself is nothing special but we wanted to make a reservation. They treated very poorly and overall the experience was poor. Would not recommend. Bar workers are amazing though.

Wasn't too bad. Bartender was nice, a little slow for my liking, especially when the amount of people there did not warrant my wait but friendly nonetheless. I waited a while to get the check and mentioned that and he apologized and got me a shot for the wait so I appreciated that. The cocktails were basic. Don't think id go back but mainly because i was just a basic experience. I'd recommend you go once though and see if it's your vibe. The spot is pretty
The DJ was incredibly difficult to work with. Every time we requested a song he responded with rude words. Sometimes he flat out said “no”. At one point the birthday boy asked for a song and he said “are you asking me or telling me?”. The comments got worse and worse every time. We wanted to report to the manager but didn’t want to cause a scene during the birthday. I am completely appalled at the way we were treated. This DJ needs to be fired.
Had my birthday party here & was amazing! They were very accommodating & nice. The bodyguards outside were very sweet as was the staff inside. They played music we liked & let us bring in a cake and some decorations. 10/10 would recommend!Service: 5/5
Hosted my engagement party on the lower floor and the team was amazing to work with. The space was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and we had two dedicated bartenders and a DJ who were all attentive and great. The team was flexible and accommodating, definitely recommend for private events!Service: 5/5

Had my birthday here recently and it was a great experience! Em was super communicative, the place was clean and private, and security made sure only my invited guests were welcome in which was super appreciated. Would come back for another event in the future!
STAY AWAY. If you're thinking about renting a space here for your a private event, DONT DO IT. Literally pick ANYWHERE ELSE. There is a reason why this place has so many bad reviews. I put down a deposit for a private space at Chloe81 and 5 hours before my event, I got an email saying that my space was no longer private and the deposit was just to guarantee us entry into the bar. When I expressed my concerns very politely and told the event manager Em Kouger that I was so excited to have my party there, she responded with "take your party elsewhere. I don't need to argue with you. The security guards get paid more than your deposit." I was not even arguing, I was just trying to rectify the situation. But she was so insanely rude for no reason and tried to make me feel like less-than. If you want your night ruined, book here. *I highly recommend renting Sidney's Five for a private event. They saved my night after Chloe81 nearly ruined it. The staff there were so nice and the owner lets you play your own music AND decorate if its for a special occasion. Highly, highly recommend.
I had the best time at this place celebrating a birthday! Super fun vibes and great atmosphere. On top of all that, my phone was misplaced. I came back the next day and despite being closed, their events coordinator, M, helped me get my phone back on his day off. The customer service was 11/10 and got my phone back with all my cards in it. Unheard of in NY! Thank you
