I had the best experience with Donald Russell my first delivery was on time however dhl let them down with the 2nd delivery when I phoned the helpline they couldn’t be any more helpful and assured me that a new delivery would be made and it arrived today. Will definitely order again and more than happy to recommend.
I ordered online with this butchers and I was left very disappointed.nnIt was all frozen stuff from as far back as 2023 this is October 2024nnAbsolutely horrendous.nnThe thing is, all their stuff us expensive, so I thought it would be high-quality but it's just disappointing all around.nnI'd never order from here ever again.nnIt's such a shame because we were looking for a butcher to deliver to us monthly.nnThey lost our custom due to their bad quality.
We've been using Donald Russell for nearly a year now and we're very impressed with the quality, taste and range of all of their products.nDelivery is well packaged so arrives frozen.nThe only problem we have is trying to fit it all in the freezer!
Hugely disappointed with my last order. I always looked forward to their burgers and meatballs made with 100% amazing beef. Sadly Donald Russell have gone cheapskate and added rice flour fillers to their products. No longer a firm, meaty burger but a soft textured one reminiscent of Birds Eye. Size of them reduced too - for the same price of course. Such a shame, I won't be ordering again.
My Mum ordered some bits. The bill came to £84.00 it was received at 7pm on delivery day. They didn’t use the polystyrene box just cardboard. Everything had defrosted. I put it in the freezer and called them the following morning. We were advised to throw away all of it. Fantastic service they are replacing the whole order. Thank you Thomas for your help today.
