Not impressed, I'm afraid, even though their workman is a very nice friendly chap. My washing machine broke down on 17th December (a Sunday). I called Domestic Appliances on 18th December and arranged to have my machine fixed on the 22nd. I was willing to pay £85 to get the thing fixed before Christmas, instead of paying £28 to buy the parts myself on eBay. The chap turned up on the 22nd, but despite my repeatedly telling the woman at the shop that my machine was a Beko she had sent him out with Hotpoint parts. He didn't have the Beko parts available, so I got stuck having to do hand washing while trying to organise Christmas, which I was in any case having to do on a shoestring, because of the £85. On 29th December, the guy finally had the right parts, he came out and fixed the machine and got it working, and finished off by putting on the retaining spring which holds the door seal in place. On the evening of the 30th I opened the door of the washing machine and the retaining spring fell off onto the floor at my feet. I am scared to use the thing without the seal being properly fixed, I can't replace it myself unless I buy plastic clamps to hold it in place with while I work on it, which I can't afford at the moment, and Domestic Appliances appear to be closed until 8th Jan. So, apart from the 26 hours between the guy "fixing" the machine and the retaining spring falling off, during which I managed to do two washes, I've paid £85 and gone without a Christmas present in order to be without a washing machine for three weeks.

Found this small company after completely failing to get a new washing machine door seal from numerous other suppliers in the area who could only deliver in a week. Anne of Domestic Appliance Parts arranged to get the part for me next day at a very competitive price. Could not recommend them highly enough.
