First time visit to Dolgellau Kebab house as I was stopping in the local area. Not many places offer similar food in the local area, so your choice is limited to where you can go or how far you want to travel. There is no parking outside the shop but I found a car park space further up the road and walked back about 5 mins walk the shop looked clean and tidy and the hygiene rating from the local council is a 5 out of 5. It is takeaway only with no option to eat in. Face masks to be worn sadly not everyone adhered to the advice but with the doors open wide It probably isn't to much of an issue. I had the vegetarian pizza and small chips. The chips I noticed were reheated / cooked twice leaving them barely edible and the amount of salt put on them didn't help either. Most of these went into the bin! The pizza was a decent size and the portions of veg were spot on. The pizza was nice and I would have another pizza again.
Worst kebab I’ve ever eaten. I ordered a chicken kebab with just lettuce and I received full salad, never asked for full salad. Also received my kebab with a puddle of steam/grease.
Bring your own salad. When visiting this establishment I was hoping for good service and nice food, but this wasn’t the case. The food lacked taste and the chips were like cardboard. None of the food burger a and kebabs had any salad in it, or sauce. The burger was very sloppy. The service was very impersonal and member even had his outdoor coat on while cooking. I paid about £50 for this food and was probably worth about £25.
Bring your own salad and a pinch of patience for the rude staff. Very impatient staff who don’t care about customer service and treat customers like dumb people and very patronising. Kebabs, wraps and burgers just come with a bit of bread and meat, no salad or sauce provided or offered. We’re not minded paying extra for this, but to not even offered. Meat was dry and no flavour and chips were basically plastic cardboard. Where is kebab I’ve ever had in my life!!
Small little place ,plenty of food ,ordered a large barbecue donor kebab, could've done with a bit more barbecue sauce, the chap was sadly alone but ran it very well, polite, efficient, could've also used a fork maybeFood: 5/5
Had a lovely pizza here. Everything was fresh and cooked well. There is a good selection on the menu but parking is very limited.
Second time this week, the food is just excellent after a day of walking. Meat, salad, chips are so tasty. Tonight I was short of cash having forgotten my wallet, Ali, the manager added fries to my order saying that he recognised me as I come at least to Dollegelau once or twice a year. A kind gesture very much appreciated.
We got a variety of take away from here as everybody had a different preference. We all enjoyed carefully prepared meals. Will recommend to anyone interested.
Best kebab shop in north wales by far staff are really friendly and the chicken wraps are like heaven when they touch your taste buds
Quick.. But small portions.. 90p for sauce!!! Usually free or included.. Friendly staff... Sadly usual frozen fries.... Cash only... Taxman...
