We adopted our Greyhound Hope from here in December 2022. She has settled in wonderfully. It's a lovely rehoming centre with exceptional staff and great facilities. The process was simple and the staff were very helpful. Would certainly use this centre again.
Loved it there get to walk around the kennels see all the dogs but no touching as it can affect the dogs behaviour. Staff are friendly, loads of info about the dogs that are there, the reception staff now their stuff, you can adopt a dog or you can apply to become a volunteer. Got a bit emotional when leaving, you just want to take the dogs home. You can buy dog food etc and donate it by leaving it with reception staff
Everyone who helped me adopt Olive was friendly, helpful and supportive. Thank you all for what you do, day in, day out to keep all the animals in your care healthy and happy.
The centre is lovely, well equipped and the dogs are very well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the information and support provided is very comprehensive, even after adoption. I adopted Benji 3 weeks ago and already can't imagine being without him. If I get another dog I'll definitely come back here. Very highly recommended.

An amazing place the staff are so helpful and they are so good with the dogs we collected our puppy 3 days ago and they have already rang to check how we are getting on and to see how benny is settling in . I would definitely recommend
Loved this place, but just see it as a 'cash cow' now. In short at my recommendation family member got a dog from them. The dog turned out to be ill, the vet and other dog owners noticed it straight away and yet this dog turns out had been returned several times with the dog trust collecting £250 each time. Somehow their own vets never noticed it. Come on. They complained and told the case is closed. Lost all respect in my eyes now.
We had a fantastic experience at Dogs Trust Merseyside. All the staff were extremely professional and understanding. We chose Buddy because he is a scruff bag with a massive personality. If you are thinking off getting a dog. Give Dogs Trust a chance. You won't be disappointed and will giving a dog a second chance in life
We adopted Hudson nearly a week ago now and we would already be lost without him, he is an absolute pleasure to be around and have in the home. We drove to see him 3 days in a row and brought him home on the 3rd day. All the staff we encountered was very polite, friendly and very helpful. You can tell the dogs are well looked after and loved while in their care. I cannot recommend this place enough. Hudson is our first rescue and will definitely adopt more in the future.
I fell in love with Pip after seeing his profile on the Dogs Trust website, unfortunately it was a Wednesday and the centre was closed so Thursday afternoon at 11:40 I was at the reception desk filling out registration forms ready for when they officially opened at 12:00. I stated that it was Pip the Yorkshire Terrier I was interested in and I sat down with a lovely member of staff called Katie who went over my details. Twenty minutes later I got to meet beautiful Pip and was able to walk him around the grounds then spend sometime in a enclosed area were Pip was allowed off his lead and felt comfortable getting to know me and my Mum. At the end of our visit, Pip was taken back to his Kennel and I went back to reception and was now told that he was provisionally mine. After consecutive visits with Pip and a home check done on the Monday, Pip officially became part of our family on the Tuesday and is thriving in his forever home.
