The process was very straightforward. The staff member was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I was very impressed and have been advising a number of family members and friends to take a pre-paid funeral plan out with Dignity.
I purchased a Dignity funeral plan through Skipton Building Society. I found both Dignity and Skipton very helpful. They did not push the product but were very helpful and prompt at every stage. Digni ty are very thorough and comprehensive. If you are looking for this sort of product, I would recommend them unreservedly.
Terrible company, absurd processes, not compassion, automatons.
Be warned - whatever is agreed ahead of time and you don't use...YOU LOSE. The difference between what you book in advance and what you spend when the time comes goes straight back to -----Yes Dignity Funerals. Book two Limo's and only use one...too bad you lose...don't spend as much as you thought on flowers, newspaper announcements etc.....too bad you lose. Ordered a cremation where 2 doctors have to sign death certificate then get told after that you didn't but don't worry we'll waive that fee...How very generous of you....Feeling robbed after going through Jennings in Oxley...A quite horrible experience after dealing with the death of a dear Mom. Please be warned in advance be very careful
My father had a funeral plan with Dignity and when it came to the time they were really good. Unfortunately dad died in June and they removed him from the care home before my sister returned from America. It took over a week and a phone call before she was able to see dad. I think this was probably miscommunication which was rectified immediately. The whole service was conducted professionally and with a very caring touch. Thank you to Kirkby and Hughes for a job well done in difficult circumstances
My aunt bought a Dignity funeral plan, when she passed this year I contacted a dignity funeral director & they sent me a written quote as there was a shortfall . With the funeral date set, I informed friends and relatives. I then received a communication to say their quote was wrong by £1000.00 & they would not honour it. I couldn't get the same date with another firm so was left to meet the additional cost.At one of the saddest times in your life you're left to deal with this on top, there's no 'Dignity' in that.
First class service and a big thank you to all for what I can only describe as very professional from the beginning to the end. A very special thank you to Carol Toni and the courtage staff today.
COLD CALLERS UNDER THE NAME OF "CHOICE FUTURE PLANNING". CHECK OUT THE DIRECTORS AT COMPANIES HOUSE WEBSITE THEY ALL SEEM TO BE INVOLVED WITH ABOUT 340+ COMPANIES. WOULD AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I purchased the plan for my wife who is a few years older than me I'm not suggesting that she won't survive me but it's a great peace of mind to have everything sorted should the inevitable take place before my demise
Absolutely Disgusting, money grabbing place/ people. Asked them to change from burial to cremation and get told NO.............. Save your self money/ heartache.... Go to Paul Pender
