Dice bar falls into the neighbourhood/dive bar variety which makes it an enticing and comfy place for a pint. Located in the Smithfield Area, Dice bar is comfortably accessible right next to the Luas line. Prices are fair and commensurate to what you are purchasing. The interior was memorable, with the long bar being particularly appealing. The bar has well balanced lighting and décor with a good assortment of seats throughout. Bar staff were understandably busy on a Saturday night but could be less mechanical/more vocal. The addition of coat hooks beneath the bar would be a welcome addition. Conclusion: this neighbourhood bar boasts competitive prices, an accessible location and good aesthetics which overall make for an attractive pint any night of the weekend.
Favourite bar in Smithfield. Nice dive bar aesthetic and the tunes are always class. Good selection of beers and good deals on short drinks too.
Its just ok place to drink a pint of beer. Luck of atmosphere with a horrible old toilets. Need a deep cleaning and a renovation.
I love going to this place. I feel like I'm walking into fun when I enter. The music is easily the best around. Fantastic indie tunes bringing you or me at least back to your youth. The atmosphere is second to none. Dice will transform your mood from what ever it is at the time to the best that is possible. Love it. Good selection of beers too!!
So they hired a deficient pianist film enthusiast to run the social media, that doesn't mean the bar is bad. Adrien Brody got an Oscar for that movie. If you like a bar that has staff and patrons that look like crazed homeless then you'll like the bar. If you like toilets with no seats and stuff scrawled into the walls like me then dice bar is the place.
Great place to hang out with friends, DJ is phenomenal we planned to do several bars but we stayed there the whole even up to the end what is unusual . People hang out outside what make the place not too overcrowded inside. Great balance between good atmosphere and phenomenal music.
Hands down one of the coolest bars in Dublin - mainly due to the music selection. 70s 80s 90s rock funk soul, dive bar style, cool drinks deals and absolutely sound bar staff. Definitely recommend for tourists and locals alike
Decent pints. Anytime I've been here the music has been great. Mix of 60-80s rock, blues and soul. Great place to start/end the night.
Really cool, out of the way, unexpectedly enjoyable bar on the outskirts of Smithfield. Lovely choice of craft and established beers. Cracking tunes, really friendly patrons and staff and just all round hella enjoyable. On a nice evening its pretty great to be sitting outside, sipping beers watching the world go by. :
Loud as hell. The lads and I had to hang outside the bar last Friday to have any kind of chat at all. Grand beers, and if you are here during the day there is actually a nice enough atmosphere.
